- I have protruding eyes, and my skin is thin and stretches easily - Since it was my first surgery, I wanted it to look as natural as possible I went for consultations together with my younger sibling (me: protruding eyes, thin skin / sibling: sunken eyes, some fat, and slightly sagging eyelid skin from using double-eyelid glue) * For me, the consultation details were almost the same everywhere, but for my sibling, they differed a bit by clinic, so keep that in mind!
After doing online research, I suddenly wanted to get surgery quickly, so I went to 3 places in person.
1. ㄴㅅㅎ Plastic Surgery (Director ㄱㅈㅎ) The reason I went here first was that they specialize in eyes, which I liked, and more than anything, my mom’s acquaintance got naturally prettier here, so I was tempted haha I went for a 10 o’clock consultation, waited 30 minutes, then consulted with the consultant. The consultant was friendly, so the atmosphere was really nice. I didn’t choose a director beforehand, but after I said I wanted a natural look, she showed me several reviews, watched my reaction, and recommended Director ㄱㅈㅎ. The director came in looking chic at first, but surprisingly, his way of speaking was gentle lol And I liked that he designed a natural line for me! He said I didn’t need any procedures other than natural adhesion. For my sibling, the Mongolian fold was strong, so he said medial epicanthoplasty would be good, and because their eye-opening strength was weak, he recommended non-incisional eye-shape correction. He said the distance between the eyes and eyebrows was narrow, so the line couldn’t be raised as much as my sibling wanted. (me: natural adhesion / sibling: natural adhesion + medial epicanthoplasty + eye-shape correction) The price was much cheaper than I expected after the college entrance exam discount, pre-booking, and photo-provision event, so I liked that. AS: 3 years Sedation + local anesthesia They do recommend a deposit (the deposit is about 10% of the person’s surgery cost). We made a reservation before leaving. They said that if revision surgery is wanted after 3 years, it can be done cheaper than the first-surgery price.
2. ㅁㅂ Plastic Surgery (Director ㅂㅁㅇ) There were quite a lot of people here, so the wait was long. I think I waited about 1 hour. As soon as I arrived, I put on a headband and took photos. During the consultation, the director explained while looking at the photos. For the price, with the college entrance exam discount, natural adhesion was possible in the 600,000-won range. From here, my sibling’s diagnosis started to differ a bit. (me: natural adhesion, with medial epicanthoplasty optional / sibling: natural adhesion + medial epicanthoplasty) This director told my sibling not to do eye-shape correction. They are still young, and because of their eye structure, if they do eye-shape correction, the eyes will look very defined, but the double-eyelid line will get buried and come out almost invisible, he said. AS: 1 year Sedation + local anesthesia They told me the dates when surgery could be done right away, and there wasn’t any particular push for a deposit. They just asked me to call back by today about whether or not I’d have surgery.
+ Personally, the consultant at ㅁㅂ was pretty haha She kind of looked like Huh Yunjin.
3. ㅇㅍ Plastic Surgery (Director ㄴㅇㅈ)
Honestly, my mom really liked the first place, so I went here somewhat inevitably, but I also went to hear another opinion about my sibling’s eye-shape correction. The wait was much shorter than the other clinics before, and including the consultation, I think it took less than 30 minutes. This director was the only one who recommended a procedure other than natural adhesion for me. He said that to make it similar to the photo I showed him, he recommended an upper epicanthoplasty. For my sibling, he said since it wasn’t incisional eye-shape correction, it would be okay to do eye-shape correction. (me: natural adhesion + upper epicanthoplasty / sibling: natural adhesion + medial epicanthoplasty + eye-shape correction) The director was kind and explained upper epicanthoplasty and medial epicanthoplasty well by drawing pictures. Even with the college entrance exam discount, the price here wasn’t that cheap.. I don’t remember well AS: 1 year + I’m not sure whether the consultant who advised me had surgery at this clinic, but... it felt too excessive, so it didn’t really match my taste, and I got the feeling that a subtle unkindness hidden inside kindness kept popping out haha
