Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

1-month review of 2-type facial contouring + vertical mini lifting

I had previously posted a question after 2-type facial contouring in the before/after board, but on December 15, at ㄷㅇㅇ, I received 2-type facial contouring (zygoma + square jaw) from Dr. ㅇㄷㅊ, and vertical mini lifting from another doctor.

Before writing the review, I first feel very grateful to Manager ㅊ, who responded to all my various hopes, questions, and schedule adjustments even on days off and late at night. (I was being difficult.) It can’t be easy at a large hospital, but I was thankful that they contacted me so carefully.

Zygoma reduction: The photos say it all… For my cheekbones, I now take photos with the filter turned off. During the consultation, I asked them to move them inward past the temples, and they realized that very thoroughly! Thanks to that, it’s amazing that I can see my ears from the front, which had been hidden by my cheekbones… Thank you…

Instead, this is something I had prepared myself for before surgery… As the midface became slimmer, my face looks longer, so later I’m thinking of pursuing a stronger V-line by getting procedures such as lower-face lifting, Accu, thread lifting, and so on.

Square jaw: They cut it as slim as possible with a long curved line, as close to the nerve line as possible… Thank you. I was originally also recommended chin surgery, so after trying the lifting surgeries above, if it still feels lacking, I’m thinking of asking for T-osteotomy of the chin as well.

They also took CT images today at the 1-month mark and reviewed them with me, and the sinuses are clean too (this also moved me… many people have inflammation even up to 3 months), and the pins in the cheekbones are well attached.

Vertical lifting: I went once a week, but I didn’t even ask the director’s name. The doctor is young but experienced. It’s the doctor who appears often in lifting videos! Thank you for the appropriate treatment (they massaged by hand and shifted the nerve that had been hurting) and explanations that reassured me… I have a feeling of being pulled tight… Even so, while I still have swelling, I kept whining and asking them to put in threads because I wanted more of a V-line, and they said, “Even if we do it now, because of the swelling, you won’t feel the effect well~ Let’s take another look after 3 months. Try to hold back~! If you do it now, it’ll be a waste of money~ If you have that money, buy clothes~~^^** Buy one more padded jacket,” so I barely held back my laughter haha

Private clinics and places with one director are good too, but I had surgery at ㄷㅇㅇ this time… and I think it went well. I think it was meant to be… When I return to Korea and go for a lifting consultation, I should bring snacks haha
