Before before after after One-month review of facial contouring cheekbone reduction
Hello, I’m a man in my 30s who had wanted cheekbone reduction since I was young.
My cheekbones were not severely asymmetrical or extremely prominent; they were a case of ordinary protruding cheekbones, so I got surgery because I wanted a slightly softer and smoother facial shape.
Because it is surgery that touches the bones, I thought it over again and again.
With the mindset that I really needed to choose the hospital well, I kept visiting clinics and searching, narrowed it down to a few hospitals, and even went for in-person consultations.
I had it done at ㅅㅅㅇ, which I liked overall. The reasons I chose it were the director’s extensive experience, good reviews, and the hospital’s facilities and system, which I really liked. Of course, I also liked that they were very kind.
I chose it right away to the point that all the worries I had thought about so much disappeared, and I booked the surgery that same day.
Now I’ll talk about the surgery review.
On the day of surgery, there was literally discomfort and pain, but the director personally reassured me after the surgery that it went well, so it was bearable.
Then I was discharged the same day. I was grateful that the nurse kindly explained the precautions and special notes well.
After that, I followed the precautions and care instructions well, and before I knew it, it had been one month since surgery (eating is the most uncomfortable part).
As the swelling gradually went down, I definitely felt the before-and-after difference. Every time I looked in the mirror, I could really feel that my cheekbones had reduced a lot. I suppose you feel it even more when you see yourself than when others see you.
They said the swelling would go down more and settle into place as time passes, so I’m waiting with anticipation.
They said I need to keep managing it carefully until 2–3 months, so I’m taking care of it diligently.
I’m satisfied because it seems to have turned out as well as I expected.
