Review after a nose consultation visit with Director Lee Byung-hoe at Made Young

Made Young / Director Lee Byung-hoe / no consultation fee

This was my 4th consultation visit after previously consulting at Mind, Premier, and Private. Made Young Plastic Surgery overall had pretty kind staff. Maybe because the places I’d been to were all so famous and busy, they had felt like they wanted to finish quickly. First, as soon as I arrived, they took photos and a CT, and I had the consultation not long after. The consultation here was the longest. Maybe about 40 minutes? First, he observed and touched my nose, told me what the problems were, and even felt the nose itself and checked the elasticity(?) of the nasal septum. He talked about and explained the facial proportions in detail, including my face shape, side profile, nasolabial angle, nasal alae, hump, etc., so I trusted this consultation the most. Also, he kept speaking with a smile, so he felt warm(?). But this is, well... you can’t really trust that alone. I’ve heard there are many doctors who seem warm but become completely stern if something goes wrong and you complain.. But even though this would be my first surgery, I don’t want revision surgery. When I looked into various things, I heard the reasons for revision surgery are mostly nasal tip drooping and inflammation, so I did have the thought that maybe it’s best to use autologous costal cartilage from the start. But other than autologous costal cartilage, he only uses ear cartilage and nasal septal cartilage. He seems not to use donated rib cartilage at all, saying it calcifies and breaks. But some places say autologous costal cartilage is the last resort, so I don’t know what’s rightㅠㅠ Since it requires general anesthesia, I’m hesitant.., The consultation itself was really my favorite, but there isn’t much information. Aesthetic sense is also really important, but there aren’t many reviews, and because it’s autologous costal cartilage, I’m really, really torn. According to the consultant, he specialized in revision surgery, many people come after hearing about him by word of mouthㅠ and he doesn’t do discount events, so that’s why there aren’t app reviews. He has 30 years of experience, so I’m not hugely worried about the surgery itself, but I’m concerned about the aesthetic sense. Anyway, everyone, use this as reference.., Oh, the price was 5,550 because it’s autologous costal cartilage ^^,, sighㅠㅠ
