My double eyelid came undone after 10 years. Personally, I think it was because of childbirth + sudden weight gain. At the clinic, they said something about the muscle~ something about aging~ Anyway, with help from an acquaintance, I went for consultations at plastic surgery clinics around Gangnam. I met a stuck-up doctor too (characteristic: just glanced over me and gave an estimate; when I asked about this and that, he sarcastically said why else would his job be doctor + seemed annoyed), met a doctor who gave an overall face estimate (I thought it was slightly too much), and met a doctor who precisely picked out only the parts I was concerned about and consulted on them. After thinking it over with the acquaintance who came with me, I went to the latter clinic among them.
I was very satisfied with the result.
The photos are from the first day of surgery ~ after stitch removal ~ current progress at 12 days post-op.
Revision epicanthoplasty (I had it 10 years ago but it failed) + revision double eyelid surgery by incision (my previous eye surgery was buried suture; even though the current one is incisional, there isn’t much difference from buried suture.. satisfied,,)
Please understand that I don’t have before photos.. After having a baby, I didn’t take pictures of myself, so finding my face among thousands of baby photos in the album is too hard,, hehe
Anyway,, this is my personal thought, but it was a revision surgery I was extremely satisfied with,,, ♡
