I had eye surgery by incisional method in early September, you know? And because of the doctor’s mistake, the line came out 180 degrees different from the design we decided on during consultation, so I got a promise for A/S revision... lol
I went for follow-up consultations several times from December to January, and they said we should talk again about the revision schedule after 6 months had passed, to wait and see until February and then come back, yeah.
With incision, swelling tends to last a long time, and I also understood waiting about 6 months, so I said okay... but what I was told today through an acquaintance of the director at that hospital is so absurd lol
They talked like they would do the revision if I went in February, but do you know what they said today? They said to wait at least 2 to 3 years, yeah. Apparently that’s how long it takes for the operated tissue to return completely like my own flesh?
No... what does that even mean? Do they think I’m trying to do it quickly because I don’t want a safe surgery? I’m so stressed because of my eyes that I can’t even meet people, and suddenly they’re telling me to wait 3 years... They also supposedly added it in a way that sounded like if I don’t wait, they can’t do the A/S revision ㅇ_ㅇ
Should I just skip them and go consult at another hospital? Or because it’s the doctor saying it, do I really have to wait? lololololol I’m seriously going crazy
