Liposuction Reviews@lipo-review

Review of my 3rd round of liposuction, and what I think you should look at when choosing a clinic…

This is not a clinic information post; I’m just writing down my review and some things to keep in mind when choosing a clinic.

Subjective opinion

6 years ago: fat-dissolving injections for thighs, carboxytherapy for arms 5 years ago: liposuction on thighs, buttocks, arms 1.5 years ago: calf liposuction This month: booked a revision surgery for my whole arms

Over 6 years, my weight kept going up and down by 10 kg.

Review: -6 years ago, I threw 1.5 million won into thin air~

-5 years ago, I impulsively looked only at clinic photos and price, rushed there from the provinces, had a same-day consultation with some unknown young doctor, then surgery,,

My skin is on the thicker side and has good elasticity. My thigh size did decrease, but I had no thigh gap, and from the beginning I had a banana fold, sagging buttocks, and hollowness above the knees. Now I still have quite a lot of fat left, but I’m just so-so and don’t have any major complaints.

But my arms,, I really did them impulsively for no reason. Other than a slight cleanup of the bulging line at the back, I didn’t feel any size change, and after that my arms looked even more bulky than before. My forearms and wrists became severely chubby, so I couldn’t wear short sleeves and couldn’t take photos showing my wrists.

-1.5 years ago, I went to the clinic of the director who operated on my friend, who had been at the clinic I first went to / The reason was that the size change was huge! But the reason I regretted it: My friend is personally satisfied, but although her thigh size changed a lot, she has cellulite-like unevenness and sagging on the back of her thighs, to the point that it shows even in leggings. She also has sagging skin in the groin area. I didn’t know if it was a side effect.. She had given birth and her skin was thin, so I thought that was why.. So I thought I’d be fine because my skin is thick, and I went to that director for my calves. They do remove a lot, yes, but I got uneven adhesions,, protruding muscles, and when I tense them, they bulge out a lot here and there.

-Booked arm revision surgery Even though I lost 8 kg for my wedding a few years ago, my arms were still chubby.. Even chubbier forearms and wrists. I’m also planning pregnancy, and after giving birth I’m thinking of doing my abdomen too, so I decided because I was afraid I might never be able to do my arms because of the cost..

It’s a clinic with a lot of revision cases, and I think there’s a reason for that.. There was a recent controversy, and I had already joined the cafe at the time so I saw it. I don’t know about their response.. I saw the photos.. It was a revision case, but to me it didn’t really look like a surgical side effect or a failed surgery, and it seemed slightly better than before.. by my standards.

It’s disappointing that there aren’t many clinic options that do forearms, but I trust them.. They’re doing the upper arms, forearms, accessory breast area, and scapular area, so it costs 5 times what I paid for my first arm surgery.. I hope this is the last one..

This isn’t really a tip for choosing a clinic.. more like tips for looking at photos? Is the clinic atmosphere and stuff like that important..? The result is what matters.. Do your own online and in-person research and judge for yourself..

If several months after surgery it’s still uneven, or there are partially bulging areas and sunken areas, it would be good to check whether they do retouching too. (for size reduction)

Thighs - First judge whether your legs are muscle-type or fat-type. Size change matters, but photos showing a thigh gap while wearing compression garments are just tempting photos.... They’re not important.

Look at reviews from at least a month later and check: 1. Whether wrinkles formed on the inner thighs 2. Whether the back thighs are not uneven like cellulite 3. Whether the buttocks did not droop 4. Whether a banana fold did not form 5. Whether there is no hollowing above the knees 6. Whether there is no skin sagging ** If your skin lacks elasticity, absolutely do not ask them to remove a lot no matter what ❌ If you filter all this out, then you can choose based on size change.

Calves

1. Smooth surface!! Absolutely not uneven!! (This can only be judged after more than 2 months because of swelling) 2. Back line and side line of the ankles 3. Whether there is no muscle prominence or adhesion

I also got hyperpigmentation, but this varies by person.. They say calves tend to get it easily, and since they’re the lowest part, circulation issues may also be a big factor! After 1 year it’s hard to see.

Arms ⭐️ Don’t just look at the side view. You have to look at the front view!!! Back view!! Also whether a shoulder line is created!!

Removing back-side fat doesn’t make your frame look smaller.. The front view stays the same.. **From the design stage**, check whether they include the inner, back, front, and side parts of the arms!!

And I think this is the most common side effect in arm liposuction: when you straighten your arm, the area just above the elbow crease. Do they not remove it? There seem to be so, so, so many clinics that can’t remove it. Even when I look at recent reviews from many clinics, everyone has a bulge right above the elbow.. It’s not swelling.. It makes you look heavier..

**Be sure to check the front view and elbows.

If your forearms are chubby too, definitely do them together, and if you can’t because of the cost, I recommend doing somewhere else instead of the arms... Don’t spend even more money like me...

This is all over the place..

I’m having my arm surgery around the end of this month... I hope I can come back with a successful review... I hope it’s worth the money...

But these days, that doll-like clinic... They make the scar openly right in the middle with a hole... Why does everyone go there just looking at the line...?? Scars are really hard to get rid of. What are you going to do if it stresses you out for life...
