Time passed quickly after the surgery, and before I knew it, a month had gone by. In my case, I tend to swell a lot, and because the weather was so hot, I think recovery of the surgical area was a little slower, but now it seems to have settled to some extent. The narrow outer corners of my eyes, which stressed me out the most before surgery, have clearly opened up, making my eyes look more refreshed, so I’m very satisfied. Now that I can wear contact lenses and makeup, looking in the mirror is enjoyable. Even without eyeliner, my eyes look noticeably more open, so I often go out bare-faced too. I hope the lateral canthoplasty doesn’t reattach, and I plan to always live feeling grateful to the director who performed the surgery so beautifully!
