Dimple Surgery Review

After <3 days after surgery><Recent>Last October, I suddenly felt like getting it done before a blind date, so I went for a consultation and had it done on the same day as the consultation haha Originally, I was planning to get non-incisional point dimples, but after the consultation manager looked at my face, she recommended long dimples with an incision rather than point dimples. The cost was a little higher than I had expected, so I was hesitating, but she said that if I did it non-incisionally and it came undone, a repeat procedure would not be possible, whereas if I did it with an incision and it came undone, they would do revision surgery for me, so I got long dimples with an incision. The director said that after getting this done, it would also have the effect of lifting the corners of my mouth a bit, so at the time I just thought, “Oh, I see,” and left it at that. But looking at it now, before the surgery the corners of my mouth tended to droop, and after getting it done, they definitely lifted a bit haha For one week after surgery, my cheeks were extremely swollen, so I really didn’t want to meet anyone.. I love drinking, but they told me not to drink alcohol because it could cause inflammation and make the dimples come undone, so I was forced to stop drinking.. (I’m a non-smoker, but they also told me not to smoke) Because it was done with an incision, there was some pain too Since my blind date was coming up soon, I tried to reduce swelling and avoid inflammation no matter what, so I didn’t eat spicy or irritating foods, drank pumpkin juice often, took my medication properly, and disinfected the inside of my mouth frequently. Thankfully, I didn’t get any inflammation. About a week after surgery, once the stitches inside my mouth were removed, the swelling went down quickly.. Until about 3 months after surgery, the dimples were there even when I wasn’t smiling, so it looked a bit unnatural, but now they only appear when I smile, so it looks natural haha There’s almost no scarring, and the dimples still haven’t come undone, so I think it turned out well! People around me tried to stop me before I did it, but after seeing the result, they said the dimples came out really well and that they wanted to get it too, asking me where I got it done lol (And I had the blind date 2 weeks after surgery, and the guy said my dimples were really pretty.. We started dating that day)
