It’s been so long since the surgery now that it feels hazy and doesn’t even feel real, but apparently it’s only been 6 months .. haha It feels like I’ve always lived with this nose, but it’s only been half a year .. lol If I was going to adjust this quickly and forget the pain so fast, I should have worried a little less and gotten the surgery even one day sooner. I guess worrying really only delays things lol
I thought I only needed alar base reduction, but during the consultation, the director said we should do the alar area and columella too, so I got all 3 done together! I was really worried while the swelling was going down, but maybe because it wasn’t actually a very major surgery, most of the swelling seemed to go down within a month. My swelling went down a bit slowly, but looking at other reviews, theirs all went down in 2-3 weeks.
I didn’t have much dissatisfaction with my original nose shape, so I wanted it to be as unnoticeable and natural as possible, and I hoped only the nostril wings would improve and look less spread out while staying similar to my original nose. It came out exactly as I imagined, so my satisfaction is 100%.
The good points of my original nose shape were preserved, so my impression stayed the same, and only the drawbacks disappeared. I like that only the parts I was unhappy with were fixed the way I wanted haha
When I consulted with the director, I asked whether I should also get implants and rhinoplasty, and I liked that he clearly told me my current nose was pretty too, so this alone would probably be enough. That’s also why I decided to go ahead .. I think it’s good because he matched every single part I wanted to change naturally and specifically.
