I had nose surgery 2 years ago, but suddenly I developed pain I’d never felt before in my life and my nasal tip started turning red, so I had a bad feeling, and it turned out to be symptoms of contracture.. There was inflammation too, so I took antibiotics for a week, and after my nose condition improved a bit, I had the silicone removed and nasal tip cartilage repositioning done. They also removed the capsule They said the condition was worse than it looked. Removal definitely seems to recover quickly. The swelling and bruising weren’t severe either, and what I was most worried about was the shape. Of course, once the silicone was removed, the bridge became lower, but it didn’t drop as dramatically as I thought. From the front, it doesn’t have that sharp, defined look, and it feels like a slightly spread-out nasal bridge? Thankfully, the nasal tip shape improved a lot, so it’s pretty similar to my original nose. But they said it can’t go back 100% completely to my original nose. It’s similar, but somehow different..
Still, I’m so, so happy that there’s no more pain or other symptoms now.. My nose has also become much more natural, so I feel more comfortable.. Honestly, I had thought about reconstruction later, but now I think I won’t touch it anymore. There’s no guarantee the contracture won’t happen again...
