I was always bothered by my hump nose and the nasal tip that drooped a lot when I smiled but I thought having surgery was too big of a deal.. and felt pressured, so I was just thinking I should live with the way I look. Then I happened to find a community, stayed up all night just reading reviews lol, and thought if I’m going to be like this, I might as well get surgery. So I had a consultation at ㅇㄴㅁㄷ in Apgujeong and had the surgery done
It was a simple method of excising through the inside of the nose so it wouldn’t be noticeable, which reassured me, and they said it would be corrected naturally as much as I wanted, so I thought, ah, this is it.. Still, surgery is surgery, so I was worried.. During the consultation, they told me that my nasal bridge was high, but I had a hump and my nasal tip was slightly drooping At first, the director showed and adjusted what my expected appearance after nose surgery would be like, and showed it by slightly raising the nasal tip I said I didn’t need my nose to be higher, and asked them to make it absolutely natural, and the director also said that doing it naturally would suit me, so we set the direction that way
After that, I went into the operating room, had anesthesia, had the surgery, and came out. I barely felt any pain, just a slightly tight/swollen? feeling I rested a bit in the recovery room and got home fine by public transportation. On day 3, I removed the nasal taping, and my nasal tip was so puffy and looked a bit like an upturned nose I was a bit worried, but they said the swelling would go down over time, so I calmed down and I think I did everything that’s said to be good for swelling
Now at week 2, a lot of the swelling has gone down, and the upturned-nose feeling has disappeared too. Of course, more swelling still needs to go down, but hehe; There’s really none of that lifted feeling I felt in the beginningㅎㅏ, and now I’m looking forward to it becoming even smoother as the swelling goes down It really doesn’t hurt at all, and I feel like it was corrected naturally, so I’m satisfied
