Before <after surgery> Before <after surgery> Before <before surgery> Before <before surgery> I did online research and booked consultations at a few clinics. Among them, the place where the consultation manager was the kindest was Lovel Avenue. (Thank you, Manager Go Ara^^) They also accommodated the consultation time I wanted, so I think my heart had already leaned a little toward Lovel Avenue even before going in for the consultation. (Since they would be putting a scalpel directly to my body, I thought the attitude of the person consulting with me was really important.)
Director Kim Won-jun personally conducted the consultation. He answered my questions very honestly, so it was a consultation that really cleared things up for me.
So I decided on the surgery right away haha
On the day of surgery, I spent about an hour changing clothes, hearing explanations about surgical precautions, and so on, then entered the operating room. After antiseptic was applied to my body and I lay down on the operating table, as soon as the anesthetic went in, deep sleep haha
After that, I woke up around 3 o’clock in the recovery room feeling cold and in pain. (The operating room nurses treated me comfortably, so I wasn’t nervous even until right before surgery haha) After I came to my senses somewhat, I ate porridge and went home ㄱㄱ~
The clinic was about an hour away from my home, but I deep-slept again in the taxi, and when I woke up, a lot of the post-surgery pain was gone, which was fascinating.
And as I watched my body recover day by day, I experienced the mystery of the human body haha
Swelling started 3 days after surgery, and I think it began to go down on day 12 after surgery. Because of the swelling, the compression garment felt so uncomfortable, but because I wanted to recover well, I wore it properly 24 hours a day. And because I wanted the swelling and bruising to go away quickly, I separately took pumpkin juice and Dangguisusan. I also went for walks and stretched whenever I had time.
Today marks 2 weeks, and currently, unless someone deliberately hits my arm, I don’t feel any discomfort^^ The swelling on the back of my arms has gone down, and the bruising that had gone down to my wrists is gone too.
It feels like a 2-week miracle? haha
Until now, I ate well using recovery as an excuse haha Once my stitches are removed today, I’m planning to start dieting in earnest too.
Director Kim Won-jun, who produced such satisfying results! And the Lovel Avenue manager and nurses, thank you all.^^ I’ll live my best life~
