I didn’t go around to multiple clinics, and after looking on a community and search sites, I booked a consultation/surgery a month in advance (100,000 won deposit), had the consultation, and proceeded with surgery the same day.
Before surgery, I had uneven double eyelids, and without makeup my eyes looked sleepy, so it became more stressful as I got older. I only got double eyelids when I wore makeup, and even then one side would come undone easily, which was so annoying! I decided on double eyelid surgery!
On the consultation day, everyone was kind, and the doctor was also kind, though he didn’t say much. He said burial method + ptosis correction would be enough, and when I asked about epicanthoplasty, I said I thought it might look strange on me, so he told me not to do it. I said I wanted natural eyes like Suzy’s, and that even if they came undone and I had revision surgery later, I would prefer not to have scars, and he immediately said the burial method was possible. He seemed to design it carefully, and the facility was clean and nice. I don’t know what the line is called lol I just chose the middle one out of the three he drew...
I had the burial method + ptosis correction, and one of my eyes bruised a lot (they said I bled a lot), so even now, a month later, a little still remains. I don’t think the swelling was that severe. I wondered if they were slightly uneven, but looking at them now, they seem okay, and I think they’ll go down more and look more natural later. I really like them. I should have done it sooner.
If you’re concerned about difficulty opening your eyes or uneven double eyelids, I recommend double eyelid surgery! My eyes look defined even without makeup, and my eyelashes are on the longer side but didn’t curl up well before; now they curl up completely and easily. Just using an eyelash curler is enough, no mascara needed~
