When I was 19, I saw my older sister get double eyelid surgery and got tempted, so I took my part-time job money, went for a consultation, and had surgery. I had natural adhesion double eyelid surgery + upper epicanthoplasty, and it actually did not hurt at all as much as I expected. But the stitched area from the upper epicanthoplasty was so itchy until the stitches were removed that I thought I was going crazy. I could not scratch it, so even though I kept an ice pack on it, it was really, really itchy. Fortunately, after the stitches were removed, it was not itchy at all, and the line came out pretty and natural, so I am satisfied.
