I had it done yesterday, and since I’d already had my forehead done before, I did the nasolabial folds, front cheeks, and side cheeks! As soon as I came out of the operating room, I took photos first, before swelling set in, because that state looks quite similar to how it looks later after the swelling goes down haha. Of course, it does become more natural.
Right now I did it secretly from my family, but these bruises haha I’m at the point where I’ll have to come out with it. I’m as good as dead. They told me to stop touching my face(?)
I’ll summarize day 1 as bruising and slight swelling, a bit of a pig-like look haha
As an aside, this is my cosmetic surgery story.. I think it’s been about 10 to 13 years since I joined this community haha I looked things up here, and just because the before-eye in the review photo looked like my eyes, I went to a place that only had maybe two comments and got my eyes done right away haha Looking back now, it’s honestly ridiculous.. lol I think I was brave. The doctor was also a complete beginner haha
This really feels like once you touch one thing, it becomes like robbing Peter to pay Paul haha After doing my eyes, my jaw looked angular, so I got my jaw done. After doing my jaw, my nose looked blunt, so I got my nose done. After doing my nose, my forehead looked flat, so I got my forehead done. After doing my forehead, only my forehead looked protruding and the balance seemed off, so I ended up getting facial fat graftingㅡㅡ haha Procedures, needless to say, I’ll just leave those out.
Of course, I spaced all the surgeries out. Shortest was 2 years, longest was 15 years (double eyelid surgery). From my experience, it only settles after at least 2 years, so planning the next design around that seems safest(???)
My personality isn’t that meticulous, so even though my eye surgery from 15 years ago has uneven medial epicanthoplasty, I just live with it. My nose is also upturned as a short nose without a columella, but I haven’t seen things get better from repeatedly touching them, so I’m living satisfied. Butㅡㅡ I do think I’ll have revision nose surgery. It’s been 2 years now, but within 2 years (I leave long intervals) I don’t think there’s such a thing as a perfect surgery. Patience is important too, and so is time to adapt(?) to a new face..? Photos usually look more distorted. In real life, I have friends who keep poking around again within 2 weeks to 3 months, saying it’s asymmetrical or something is wrong, and their situation got worse while the money just kept disappearing. The stress goes without saying. I think everyone knows asymmetry is originally hard to improve. It’s something I carry with me too..
If I could go back to the past, I think I’d only do about an inner double eyelid, (I had ptosis, so my eyes became freaking huge from incision surgery, and that broke the balance, which made me start doing things)
and since I have a skeletal-looking face, maybe only fat grafting, and nothing else. Though I’ve already crossed the Rubicon hahaㅎㅎㅎ
