Even now, my lower teeth still feel tight, my jaw feels numb as if it were anesthetized, and I have a stinging, electric-shock-like aching sensation. On the morning of day 5, without realizing it, I fell asleep leaning to the side while pressing on my left 45-degree cheekbone...
Since then, only the left cheekbone area has had a throbbing sensation, and even when I close and open my eyes, it feels uncomfortable as if there is a foreign-body sensation + when I slightly lower my face, there is a heavy feeling. The hospital says they fixed it firmly, so there should be no problem, and for now there does not seem to be inflammation, so they said they will check again next week when I come in for follow-up. Will it be okay..?
Even now, blood-tinged nasal discharge or phlegm is going down the back of my throat, which is uncomfortable, and my voice does not come out well either.. Even when I gargle, the inside of my mouth is so swollen and tight starting from the inside of my lips that it hurts so much and is difficult. I wonder when it will get better..
Of course there is swelling, but the protruding side cheekbones were what stressed me out the most, so I decided on facial contouring. But the line is not different from before surgery, and from my cheeks to my jaw, and even the areas where the stitches were removed at the temples and sideburns, are extremely swollen. Especially my jaw area aches so much and is painful, so from the day of surgery until today, I have not had a single day where I slept comfortably and deeply.. I am only getting more worried about whether it will get better with time, so I am writing this...ㅠㅠ
