I had just written a long, carefully detailed review in polite speech, but it all disappeared, so I’ll write quickly in casual speech; please understand.
Both the consultant and the director were kind. With large hospitals, sometimes you feel like you have to rush to ask questions if you want a consultation, but here I didn’t get that feeling, and I was able to ask plenty of questions. Of course, it was within about 20 minutes, so they didn’t allocate a huge amount of time itself. I had an appointment, but because of the nature of the hospital, there was quite a wait. Not enough to be a major complaint.
My facial bones themselves are quite voluminous, so they said I’m the type who would see a very dynamic effect after three types of facial contouring. This is my second hospital now, and both said the same thing... so I’ll probably definitely do contouring..
For the jaw area, they said there is more than 1 cm of space from the nerve line. So I asked whether cutting everything aggressively could look aesthetically bad, and they said they consider all of that and don’t just cut unconditionally; however, because there is space from the nerve line, it’s not a case where they need to cut more but cannot because of the nerve. Also, from my perspective, the issue is that the bones look prominent, but from the forehead to the nose and down to the chin tip, the commonly mentioned 1:1:1 ratio seems that way now, so I asked whether cutting the chin bone would break that ratio and make it look strange. They said that’s just because my eyes are used to my own face, and after cutting, they were confident that the ratio would look more ideal.
I brought photos of several celebrities, and all of their chin styles were different. So they immediately pointed out each celebrity’s characteristics, said they roughly understood what kind of style I was asking for, and said they would apply it well to my current face and ideal features to approach the best possible ideal approximation.
Honestly, all the answers were ideal, so there wasn’t much to criticize..
For the cheekbones, they would do the side cheekbones together with the 45-degree cheekbones.. basically, from the forehead line downward, anything that catches visually would go in. (While preserving a little volume for a masculine look.) But they said it wouldn’t be left ambiguously to the point that I’d be dissatisfied..
For the front chin, I have a slight protruding chin, and they would set it back slightly while proceeding with an upgraded method from T-osteotomy. They said pins would be inserted here as well.
For the square jaw, they said they can reduce quite a lot at an angle that preserves masculinity without creating an overly pointed jaw. And they said cutting a lot does not mean that sagging cheeks or things like that increase proportionally. Even if they cut more than in other people, it is only around 0.1-0.2 mm, and that doesn’t sharply impair the skin’s elasticity. They also said women may sag a little more than men. But even that could happen after passing the 40s, they said. In some hospital reviews, I saw things like “avoid a director who says there will be no cheek sagging,” but this director said almost with certainty that there would be almost no cheek sagging.. Since I trusted the other parts, I don’t feel like ruling them out just because of this one thing. I guess everything is case by case..
Anyway, they said that if I have surgery, the face size itself will become much smaller, and that I’m the type who can keep getting a dynamic result..
From what I roughly looked up, it doesn’t seem like they give consultations like this every time when they expect such good results. (Or if I’m wrong, please comment.)

Anyway, I was 100% satisfied with the facial contouring consultation,
but I also wanted to do revision rhinoplasty, so I waited and had a consultation with another specialist doctor.
The reason for revision surgery is that I previously had inflammation, so only the nasal tip implant/material was removed again.. At that time, when the nasal tip was removed, they didn’t know exactly what happened to the septal support strut area, so they said they would have to open the nose first to know the result after revision surgery. In other words, if the maximum expectation is 100, they honestly said they won’t know whether it will come out as 100, 80, or 30 until they open it. If the septal support strut was also removed because of inflammation during the previous surgery, there would be no foundation, so there would be limitations; on the other hand, if the support strut remains, there could be quite a good effect.. They spoke honestly. It was good that they spoke honestly, but it’s true that it made my concerns deeper.. If they open it and I undergo surgery that can’t achieve a big effect, the burden is the same..
That said, they said this doesn’t mean there is a higher chance of side effects or anything like that, and that they were only talking about the aesthetic aspect, so that was relatively reassuring.
One of my biggest concerns is whether doing facial contouring and revision rhinoplasty together increases the probability of side effects, and I’ve been continuously looking into it. At this hospital too, they said there is absolutely nothing like that, and that only the first 2-3 days are hard for the patient. I know many people are worried about similar things, so please use this as reference.. If anyone has a different opinion, please share.. But I’d prefer it to be an expert opinion.
