The photos are in order: before surgery - the day the surgical splint was removed - 2 weeks (now)!
My face was never that outstanding to begin with, but I had a really severe complex about my nose. When I look at my school-days photos, I covered only my nose in all of them.. I thought a lot about wanting rhinoplasty, but aside from the cost, I was also really scared of side effects, so I kept hesitating. But in the end,, I decided that if I was going to keep being this stressed, I should get plastic surgery! I made up my mind and decided to go through with it. Nasal bridge silicone (I remember the length was about 4 mm!), nasal tip ear cartilage, and nostril reduction, like that!
I had already heard that bulbous noses do not improve that much, so I had the surgery without expecting too much. With the mindset that I would be very satisfied if it got just a little better from here..
After the surgery, the period when my nose was blocked with cotton was absolute hell. Everything else was fine, but sleeping.. was the hardest ㅜㅜ
I had the cotton removed from my nose after one day, and around days 7-8, I had the splint removed. The first thing I felt was that it did not change as dramatically as I had expected. But as time passed and the swelling went down, there definitely started to be a difference in the shape. It is still only week 2, so there is more swelling left to go down! They said swelling at the nasal tip lasts the longest.. I’ll have to be patient ㅜㅜ
At first, I wanted to get a dramatic result even if it meant pushing it. But the director persuaded me, saying that if I did not compromise appropriately according to my skin condition, I might like it at first, but the shape would not last long and there would be a high chance of needing revision surgery, so I entrusted everything to the director on the safe route haha
For a week after removing the splint, whenever I moved my head, it felt like the silicone was moving with a clunking sensation, so I went around very carefully. Now I do not have that feeling, and I think it is gradually settling into place!
Right now I am extremely satisfied!
