Before <up to here is before surgery> After <appearance after tape removal on day 5> <week 2: I think this was when the major swelling was gradually going down and the minor swelling was starting to appear. I met an acquaintance, and they didn’t know I had surgery; they just thought I had lost weight lol> <photos at one month after surgery..> <In the photos, I didn’t edit my face shape at all, only skin retouching> Hello! As of today, it has finally been one month since my facial contouring surgery, so I’m sharing my review and before-and-after photos!! Please excuse that I’m not very good at writing ㅎㅅㅎ;; Before, my face shape was a bumpy, jar-like shape, and among everything, my cheekbones were so large that I always worried they made my impression look strong... In the end, I got contouring surgery, and I underwent major facial work: 3-type facial contouring + cheekbone liposuction + temple fat grafting. The pain was the hardest and most painful right after the surgery ended, and after that it was tolerable enough! For a little under a week after surgery, I had headaches and a throbbing sensation around the temple area, and from day 4 after surgery, my lower front teeth felt sensitive and tight. After about 3 weeks, the pain disappeared. At first, when washing my face or applying lotion, if it brushed against the area, the aching sensation was quite strong, but it feels like it has decreased over time! And as I said in my previous review, I could still feel sensation even right after surgery, and even now, if something gets on or drips around my jaw, I can feel it all and wipe it right away lol. But when I touch my cheekbone and temple areas, they do feel a bit numb! Still, there’s nothing particularly inconvenient in daily life, and I don’t really notice it!! lol As for chewing, at first I had to mainly eat soft foods, so I replaced meals with porridge and soy milk, and from about a week later I started eating regular food little by little. I cooled down rolled omelet and soup before eating them, and on day 2 I even cut ramen into small pieces and ate it well haha. The hospital also said I needed to practice chewing, so I kept trying to chew, and now when I open my mouth, about 2 fingers can fit in! Before surgery, 3 fingers could fit! Well, now I can even eat pork ribs without any problem lololol. My facial swelling was at its peak on day 4, and after that it didn’t swell more; it seems to be gradually going down. In the evening it goes down, then after sleeping and waking up it swells a bit again. Also, I had bruising around my eyes, and the director said bruises with blood can last a long time, so I think they all disappeared around week 3! And the yellow bruising around my cheekbones was gone after about 2 weeks. For swelling care, for about 4 days I ate pumpkin porridge, for about a week I took Elas-A swelling medicine, and for about 2 weeks I applied Noblue Gel to the bruised areas. I didn’t take very long walks. At first, I walked about 30 minutes to 1 hour, or at least tried to move around inside the house! haha After about a month, a lot of the swelling has gone away, and it completely feels like my own face shape, so every time I look in the mirror it feels amazing haha. Maybe because the lines have become smoother and the cheekbones are gone, my stress is gone too! I guess I’ve gained some confidence...? haha If you have any questions, please leave a comment~ I hope this helps those preparing for facial contouring! Whatever plastic surgery you choose, decide carefully and safely~:)
