Since I was young, my protruding trapezius muscles were such a huge complex for me, so I tried meridian massage and posture correction, but nothing really improved. After thinking about it, I tried Botox.
I think it was Nabota, a domestic product. Maybe because I iced the area before getting it, there wasn’t much pain, and the swelling went down in a couple of hours. I was really worried because I heard that if it goes wrong, you might not be able to lift your arms, but thankfully I had none of those side effects at all.
But shortly after getting it, it seemed to be getting a little better, and lately it feels like it has tightened up again and become hard.. I already have a lot of muscle, so I even added a retouch and got it twice, but after trying it, I know for sure.
For the trapezius, I think lifestyle habits are just really critical. Especially for people like me whose muscles have been hard over a lifetime, even more so.
If I had less muscle mass, I think the effect would have been more dramatic, but since mine was so hard to begin with, I think the effect feels relatively weakerㅠ
Now I’m just going to work out hard, stretch, and correct my rounded shoulders..
