My eyes weren’t exactly very small, but by my standards they looked small I didn’t like how sharp they looked, and it stressed me out, so after thinking it over I looked into dual canthoplasty. What I wanted was for my eyes to look a little more open and less sharp, and after a consultation at Young Princess, where they pinpointed exactly that, I felt this was the place and booked the surgery. Aside from the anesthesia, nothing hurt, and they explained the precautions thoroughly. Every time I went for progress checks, they explained things in detail and checked on me kindly, so I don’t think I felt worried or anxious about swelling, bruising, or scars. I received good aftercare, applied the ointment well at home, and did warm/cold compresses diligently, so the swelling went away faster than I expected, there’s no redness, and the scars have faded a lot. Now you’d only see them if you looked up close while flipping the outer corner of my eye open. I really like that it wasn’t widened excessively in an obvious way, but naturally, making my eyes look subtly more open!
