Review of buried-suture double eyelid surgery from 8 years ago

Before<before surgery><More than half a year after surgery in 2014><Current in 2022 (right double eyelid came undone)> When I looked up the clinic, it seems like they moved locations, but I’m not sure if the director is still the same. Since it was a one-doctor clinic, I think it’s probably the same?

It’s been quite a long time since I had it done, and I don’t have photos from right after surgery, but writing from memory, I went there through a referral because my cousin had it done there and it turned out well. During the consultation before going in on the day of surgery, I asked them to make it in-out? and not too thick, and they did exactly that. I thought my upper eyelids were thick, but they didn’t tell me to do anything like fat removal, and I really only had buried-suture double eyelid surgery. (Later, an acquaintance saw my eyes and also had it done there; she wanted epicanthoplasty, but they said she didn’t need it, so I think she said she only had incisional double eyelid surgery..)

Right after surgery, I wondered if it was slightly thick, but as the swelling went down, it became natural.

The AS period was 2 years, but after 2 years, around the time I was entering the 3rd year, one eye came undone and remained as an inline? crease thinner than the surgical line, and when it swells, the double eyelid on that eye disappears.... ㅠㅠ So on swollen days, my eyes sometimes look uneven... lololololol Other than that, I’m satisfied with everything. Usually no one knows I had double eyelid surgery, and even if I tell them, they say it looks natural.

At the time, my partner and friends who tried to stop me from getting double eyelid surgery all saw the result and said it turned out well and that I became prettier. After surgery, I heard a lot that my eyes were pretty.
