Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Botched revision rhinoplasty + civil lawsuit + criminal complaint + protest

Before/after ㄱㅇ. I had surgery by that doctor there who goes around loudly calling himself a nose specialist.

The clinic keeps deleting my review, so I’m posting it again~ They really delete things diligently. They keep doing useless things.

They lied and said they would refund my surgical fee~ then stabbed me in the back by filing a civil lawsuit and a criminal complaint. They must have thought I was an easy target.

Yesterday, their lawyer called saying they wanted to settle?? Did they change strategy because threatening me by mobilizing public authority didn’t work? If they want to settle, why are they deleting my posts?

Since he’s a doctor who lies as easily as breathing. When he suddenly says he wants to settle, how am I supposed to trust him? I’m honestly speechless, wondering what else he’s plotting. If he wants to settle, shouldn’t he first reflect on what he did wrong, bow his head, and apologize? Is he thinking of scamming me again? The world is scary these days, so I’m afraid I might get stabbed.

On top of everything, I’ve been going to the hospital these days, you know? I was harassed so badly by the clinic that I developed depression, panic disorder, adjustment disorder, and insomnia. I also got a skin disease. Both my face and my mind are ruined.

ㄱㅇ. I paid 5 million won for revision rhinoplasty.

Overall review: The result was completely different from what was discussed in the preoperative consultation. I am extremely dissatisfied. Before surgery, we discussed and proceeded with surgery to raise my nose as much as possible, at least 4 mm higher than its preoperative height, but nothing changed compared with before surgery.

My face is a long, plate-shaped face with a sunken midface, and my cheekbones and mouth look protruded.

So I had the surgery because they said that if the nasal bridge was lowered and the nasal dorsum and nasal tip were raised as much as possible, my face would look shorter, my midface would look more convex, and my cheekbones and mouth would look set back. But there is absolutely none of that effect.

The only very slight improvements are that the drooping nasal tip and nasal deviation are gone, but aside from that, my face has not changed.

When I asked why there was no difference in nasal height compared with before surgery, they said there was no extra room in the skin of my nasal tip. When I asked why my mouth still looked protruded, they said I needed two-jaw surgery. Things they said before surgery could be improved are now being blamed on my original facial structure.

They also said the nasal tip would not drop more than it did after the first surgery, but it has dropped a lot, so my nose looks longer and longer. It has been a little over half a year since surgery, and I can visibly see the nasal tip dropping day by day. Maybe the columellar support is weak, because when I smile, my nose gets compressed and becomes arrow-shaped. A blunt, clunky nose. My nasolabial angle is not even 90 degrees. It makes me look older and unfashionable.

They said they would make a new nose that harmonized best with my face, so I paid 5 million won and had surgery. If it was going to be like this, I would have just gotten only the nasal tip A/S done for free at the clinic where I had my previous surgery.

The clinic tries to brainwash me by saying it looks natural and pretty. Since my face hasn’t changed, of course it looks natural. And it is not pretty at all.

What made me even more uncomfortable with this clinic was that the specialist and the consultant kept mixing in casual speech with me here and there.

My surgery was scheduled for 10 a.m. on the day of surgery, but they had booked another client’s consultation at the same time. I lay on the operating table with all the IV needles inserted for a long time before the surgery started. I felt extremely unpleasant and uncomfortable the whole time I was lying there. I asked the nurse what time it was, and it was already 10:40 then, and even after that I waited more than 10 more minutes.

The surgery took about an hour. I did not feel at all that any care had gone into the surgery. Maybe the anesthesia wasn’t done properly, because I screamed from pain during the surgery. They told me to endure it.

The photos were taken at the clinic at the 6-month mark. Now my nose is even lower than it was then.

The clinic says we should do revision surgery after one year has passed and the skin stretches more. Before surgery, they loudly said, “I’ll make this your last surgery,” and “I’ll make you look as pretty as possible.” Now they change their words in an instant and say we should do revision surgery. It’s absurd.

The first surgery should have been done properly. How many times on earth does a nose need to be cut open and redone... I see no consideration for the patient’s life or health.

Here, they say we should compensate by putting AlloDerm only in the nasal tip.

When I consulted other clinics, they said the nasal tip can definitely be raised more, and that it is not enough to correct only the nasal tip; the entire nose needs to be raised more in line with the nasal tip height, and to do that, the columellar support also has to be rebuilt. It was devastating because it means major reconstruction has to be done from the beginning.

----------- The lawsuit story starts here ----------

Even though the situation is this bad, the clinic filed a lawsuit to prohibit my review from being posted, claiming it was false. The result was that the clinic lost. They said to remove expressions that could identify the clinic name and doctor’s name. Okay, I’ll post it so they can’t be identified.

That board-certified plastic surgeon who lied, saying he was sorry and would refund me. He hired a large law firm and harassed me like that. Doesn’t he think the litigation costs are a waste?? I fought alone without a lawyer, so I didn’t spend a single won.

What is truly absurd is that the clinic used Photoshop and the Soda app to manipulate my face and submit it as evidence. They put strange marks however they wanted on top of my photos and drew on them. It was so childish and absurd. What are they doing?

Instead of reflecting and apologizing... what kind of mindset is it to harass a patient who is already suffering because the surgery was botched?

And that clinic leaked photos of my face online, you know? I filed a criminal complaint for that too. That doctor will soon be summoned by the police and investigated. Losing a civil lawsuit and getting criminally accused. Is he digging his own grave?
