This is a consultation review for revision surgery for male sausage eyes. Yesterday I went to 2 places in Gangnam and 1 place in Apgujeong.
ㅇㅇㅋ Director ㅊㅁㅅ The consultant was quite professional. Clean and no unnecessary talk. The director marked a predicted line for double-line lowering and said it looked like it would come down to about here. I liked the line, and during the consultation I somehow felt a lot of trust in the director. Maybe because it’s a clinic famous for eyelid revision, they said my eyes weren’t an extremely bad case. But they said it’s just that they’re not extremely bad, they are still bad. No talk about a deposit.
ㅅㅅ Director ㅅㅈㅎ Both the consultant and director recommended upper epicanthoplasty. I asked whether the line would lower well, and they said it’s a surgery they do every day. The consultation was 3 minutes? I don’t think it even took 5 minutes.. I’ve met several doctors said to be famous in Gangnam and they all said my eyes were difficult, but this doctor spoke so easily that I was a bit confused whether that meant they were that good or what.. I don’t care about the front part and only want to lower the line, so I asked if upper epicanthoplasty was also essential, and they said it was essential. This was the first time I heard about upper epicanthoplasty after visiting 6 places. Anyway, I wasn’t that satisfied.
ㅇㅇㅌ Director ㄱㅈㄱ I went for a consultation because I heard many people go to this clinic for eyelid revision too. The consultant was clean and quick, didn’t ask this and that, and connected me with the director. They said the line can be lowered as much as I want, and explained the surgical plan by dividing it into plan A and B. They helped me understand ptosis correction well, and also showed me blog posts while giving additional explanations.
So I visited all 6 places I originally planned over two days. Gangnam to Sinsa was okay, but Gangnam to Apgujeong was hard. It overlapped with rush hour, traffic was backed up, and the subway had so many people. I think people going around for consultations should leave more time between appointments.
In conclusion, I’ve chosen two places I’m drawn to, but I need to think a bit more at the end. Since it would be a second revision surgery, I’m definitely becoming much more cautious..
