It has been about 6 months since surgery.
I had two procedures done at the same time: one facial contouring procedure, cheekbone reduction (Director Kim Tak-ho), and incisional ptosis correction/eye shape correction (Director Oh Hyun-bae).
The biggest reason I had surgery was to soften my impression, which looked somewhat blunt and fierce when my face was expressionless.
As you can see from the before photos, my eyes were not extremely small, but my epicanthal folds were thick, and when I strained to open my eyes wider,
my eyebrows would even lift upward and my forehead would wrinkle, so my eyes really needed ptosis correction/eye shape correction.
My cheekbones were also somewhat developed because I take after my father. Especially when photographed from a 45-degree angle, I really hated how they protruded.
If you look at the before-and-after CT photos, the very developed cheekbones went inward very well.
This applies not only to cheekbone surgery but to all cosmetic surgeries: even if people receive the same surgery from the same director,
there are people who get 100 out of it, people who get 200 out of it, and people who get 50 out of it..
So I hope you carefully analyze what surgery is most necessary for you before going ahead with it.
For me, my fairly large cheekbones were pushed in well, so the side line of my face became smoothly refined,
and my eyes, which had felt unpleasantly heavy and stuffy, became clearer, so I think I got the results I wanted.
Of course, when doing my eyes, I wondered whether I should also do canthoplasty, and since my jaw seemed a bit ambiguous, I thought maybe I should shave the jaw while I was at it..
But there is also the saying that too much is as bad as too little, and the hospital did not particularly mention it, so I only had the two surgeries I had originally planned.
I live outside Seoul, and while working, I had the surgery by using public holidays, remote-work days, and weekends, rested about 5 to 6 days, and then went back to work.
When acquaintances ask me how the surgery was, I tell them my biggest regret is that I did not do it in my early 20s and got it when I was almost 30.
I should have done it earlier..
My mother was also very worried before the surgery and asked whether I was not scared,
but now she is so satisfied that she asks me to send photos of her son so she can show them to acquaintances.
The reason I chose Taco as the hospital was that I watched a review video on YouTube by a young male practicing doctor who had undergone facial contouring surgery himself,
and both Director Kim Tak-ho and Director Oh Hyun-bae were kind. Six months have passed, I have no side effects, and I feel I got the results I wanted,
so I think I chose the hospital well. I hope those who are considering surgery also get good results.
