Because of my bulbous nose, I wanted to make the nasal tip a bit smaller, so I put 2 mm silicone in the nasal bridge, and since I also have a bit of a saddle nose, the silicone covered the saddle nose too.
Now that a year has passed, I'm planning to remove the silicone, and they said if I remove it, they'll take the ear cartilage that's in the nasal tip and use it to fill the saddle nose area. If I don't like that, they said they'd open the ear and harvest new ear cartilage. One ear was already opened during my first surgery, and for the revision they said they'd open the other ear. When the ear is opened, there can be subtle changes in ear shape and itchiness around the suture area, so I'm not exactly happy about opening both ears.. But then again, if they take it from the nasal tip, the nasal tip will probably look more spread out from the front, like my original nose I wonder whether it would be better to just open the ear or take it from the nose
