(Long post warning) I'm so lazy that I'm only now posting my first consultation trip review haha lol I already posted the review of visiting three places in one day!
First, my nose feels like a long nose + bulbous nose + thick skin lol (first nose surgery) My eyes also have a bit of distance between the inner corners, so if I could get a consultation for them too, I did.
The conditions for nose surgery are not great, but it's been a lifelong source of stress, so I made up my mind to do it this time and looked into it, but it wasn't easy. There are so many clinics and more than one or two things to consider Anyway, the first 3 places I looked into were (December) ㄷㄷㅇ, ㅁㅊㅍ, ㅇㅊㅂ, but I'll write about ㅇㅊㅂ in the next post
1. ㄷㄷㅇ (photo shoot o, consultation fee x) It was my first time at a plastic surgery clinic so I was really nervous, but the consultant unni and the desk unnies were kind,,, The nose photo I brought at first was Go Youn-jung. But I wanted a fancy-natural look I consulted with someone famous for the fancy-natural style, and for my nose it felt like they suggested everything possible: hump nose correction + donated costal cartilage + silicone + nostril reduction? + nasal osteotomy.. It was seriously my first time hearing I had a hump nose. I was like huh..? And they said long nose! and that was when I first started realizing it... For the eyes, I think they said epicanthoplasty It didn't leave much of an impression, so I don't remember. Personally, they were famous, but the doctor didn't feel like a good fit for me, so I passed.
2. ㅁㅊㅍ (photo shoot o, I don't remember the consultation fee) First, it proceeded with almost no waiting time. This place seemed to really pursue a natural look (from roughly looking around the clinic). Long nose + donated costal cartilage or autologous costal cartilage + as little silicone as possible, about that? I don't remember about nasal osteotomy They also gave an opinion of bulbous nose. For the eyes, they said for canthoplasty, don't overdo it and just do about 70-80%, and they showed me lots of different reviews. The doctor was professional and calm. They explained kindly, so at that time I came to understand a lot of nose surgery terminology. The clinic was smaller than I expected, and from here I started asking basic questions based on the information I'd picked up. I think they did 3-4 surgeries a day, and there was an anesthesiology specialist. I debated doing it here, but in the end, the naturalness was nice... but I didn't think the shape I wanted would come out, so I passed. (A side issue, but the distance was also inconvenient(
After writing it all, I realized I left something out. I thought my nose was low my whole life, but they said it isn't low It only looks that way because of my forehead. It was fascinating in a lot of ways. I thought I knew my face well haha. The photos were also taken so realistically, so I felt a lot of reality checks. Is it just me lol
Anyway, going around clinics isn't easy I'm not from Seoul either, so it drained a lot of my energy.
