My eyes were uneven and the scarring was so severe that I spent about 5 years considering revision surgery. Whenever I had time, I went to so many consultations about revision surgery. I think I went to more than 30 places. The conclusion was that I should not touch them anymore. Almost every doctor said that.
Then, about half a year ago, I searched “eye revision surgery” on Google and found a clinic whose post-op photos looked especially realistic. It was a clinic I had never heard of, and there were barely any reviews. There were no bad comments, and not even any comments recommending it. It was just a clinic with almost no promotion. But strangely, there were so many post-op photos provided by the clinic. So I went for a consultation, and on top of the doctor being kind, I got the feeling that they examined me extremely meticulously. They identified the problems accurately and clearly explained what could be improved and what could not. After the consultation, I thought, “I have to do it here.”
At other places, it is normal for them to offer conditions tied to same-day booking.. but the consultation manager here just had the vibe of, “Please take your time to think it over. We do not pressure you!” Since it was different from other places, I misunderstood it at first.. but after going to other places for consultations, so many people end up doing it here, and because they have that level of skill, they do not pressure you.
To be honest, I do not remember the exact price ㅠㅠ It also differs by person, but anyway, it did not feel like they were asking for an outrageous amount! On the day of surgery, the doctor was really, really, really, incredibly delicate and felt like a perfectionist. I could feel that they had worked so hard. From the 2-week mark, it looked so natural, and the scar when I closed my eyes had almost disappeared! The uneven eyes improved too, and the sausage-like swelling also disappeared..!
And I think I understand why people do not leave reviews.. First of all, there is no pressure, and because they are skilled even if you do not leave a review, maybe it is word of mouth.. It seemed like many people come on their own. At first, I was so grateful that I thought I would definitely leave a review within a month.. but my eyes just felt like my own eyes.. I had even forgotten the clinic’s name and was living my life. But the reason I wrote this post is! I hope it can be even a little helpful to people like me who are worried after several revision surgeries! And I was so grateful for how much the doctor worked hard on the day of surgery, and I wanted things to go even better for them, so I ended up leaving this long post!
