The three previous photos are, in order, before surgery, 9 months after, and 3 and a half years after.
My eyes were so small that they were barely visible unless I pulled them open that much in photos, so I decided to have surgery.
After consultation, I decided on ptosis correction and epicanthoplasty. Back then, for some reason, I think I was worried that the distance between my eyes was narrow, but now it actually seems wide, so why was I worried about that...?
Anyway, even after 9 months, there was still some swelling. I was traveling at the time, so maybe it was because I was tired... Now I can say there was still some swelling, but at the time, I thought that looked natural and liked it, so I went around like that. Over a long period of about 1-2 years, the line gradually settled into the inner double eyelid that was originally intended, and it became the shape in the last photo.
So now I think these are the best eyes I could have gotten from my original features. I do regret not doing it a little earlier... Side effects... none in particular. Maybe it feels like I lost a bit of my eyelashes? But after getting my eyes done, I started wanting to get my nose done too, so these days I’m looking into nose surgery. haha
