I have a severe bulbous nose + thick skin. So I had my first surgery, but they said it looked asymmetrical, so I had a second surgery again after just one week. About 2 years passed, and I felt like the bulbous nose hadn’t improved, so at another place I got silicone + ear cartilage + alar base reduction. It’s been 6 months now, but my nasal tip is still bulky and looks like a bulbous nose. When I look at photos, all I can see is my nose.. I went to the hospital every month for checkups, and this time they asked what I thought about trying revision surgery again around February next year.. They said they would insert thin silicone into the nasal bridge, use ear cartilage from another area, and rather than doing alar base reduction, they would trim some nasal tip cartilage... Of course, since it’s after-service, there would be no surgery fee.
But I’m also worried about contracture, and if I do it again this time, it’ll be my 4th surgery... I made a reservation, but I’m really debating whether to cancel it.
