I’m someone whose top priorities are safety and a natural look, so I went for consultations at ㄴㅈㅎ and ㄱㄹㅎ. Contrary to what I expected, the two hospitals differed quite a bit in cost and surgical method, so I ended up even more confused about which one to choose..
First of all, my chin tip isn’t slim and gives a straight-jaw feeling, my lower jaw is large, and overall there’s a slight underbite-like impression. It always stood out in photos, so it was always a complex for me
1. ㄴㅈㅎ I had seen posts saying the director is very firm and not exactly the easygoing type so I was a bit intimidated, but he was calmer and kinder than I expected, like a university hospital professor. At first, I said I only wanted to do the chin tip, but I got shut down, and he said I’d need a T-osteotomy of the chin tip and that the contour should be shaved smoothly from the square jaw area through the side jaw^^ The postoperative photos he showed were also natural and had the look I wanted, so I liked it. I also asked about sagging, and the consultant said that rather than the square jaw area, there could be a bit of double chin at the chin tip.. Since it was my first consultation, I’m disappointed I couldn’t ask more about recovery The consultation itself was all good!
2. ㄱㄹㅎ First of all, the consultant was comfortably kind, like an older sister next door. Before the consultation, they took many photos in very specific detail. The director was bold and straightforward, but looked extremely busy. Still, he answered and checked things in a long and detailed way The explanation was like a warm Frappuccino, anyway it was like that In between, he kept pressing me by asking if I understood Still, he felt honest, so I felt I could trust him. Actually, both hospitals felt trustworthy in different ways I paid a 20,000 won consultation fee when making the reservation, but he showed things by erasing areas with some computer technology and explained at length and in detail, so it didn’t feel that wasteful. Here, they pointed out that my nerve line is low, and said not to shave the square jaw area, but to shave from the side jaw, do cortical osteotomy, and since the front chin is short, lower the chin tip slightly to make it look slimmer. He said my chin is one where a T-osteotomy can’t be done. That’s where I mentally broke down I realized surgical methods really differ by hospital. As expected, I think you need to go to several consultations to feel sure, or else you get even more confused.. (that’s me) Also, since I’m doing it anyway, I feel like shaving the square jaw would have a clearer effect, but the director said there’s no need, so I don’t know what to do Still, it’s a hospital that fits the procedure to the face and has absolutely no overtreatment, so I definitely recommend a consultation~
