I had a consultation with Director ㅇㅁㅊ at ㄱㄹㄷ for my first double eyelid surgery.
I waited about 10 minutes, and the consultation went in the order of consultant - director - consultant. Since it was my first surgery and I’m an office worker, I went in only thinking about a non-incisional method, but the consultant said I would probably need an incisional method, so I was a bit flustered. Fortunately, the director said a non-incisional method was also possible. They recommended either non-incisional double eyelid surgery + upper canthoplasty + ptosis correction, or incisional double eyelid surgery + upper canthoplasty + ptosis correction + upper eyelid fat repositioning. For anesthesia, they said they use sedation anesthesia + local anesthesia, and that aftercare is covered for 1 year and they provide swelling laser treatment.
Since it was my first double eyelid surgery and my first consultation, I ended up putting down a reservation deposit almost without thinking, but I have consultations booked at 5 other places, so I’ll probably cancel. I paid a 100,000 won deposit, and they said if I cancel one week in advance, I can cancel after paying a 10% penalty!
