I lived with non-incisional ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty from 2017, but at some point I started feeling like my eyes were gradually loosening + the epicanthoplasty did nothing, so I decided on revision surgery.. The revision was incision + epicanthoplasty + lateral canthoplasty. I watched the doctor’s YouTube and went in with unlimited trust. Even though he wasn’t a specialist, I placed unlimited trust in a doctor who subtly emphasized his aesthetic sense and skill. I thought surgical skill was what mattered, and did a specialist really have to be necessary..? I tried to trust him completely.
The consultation was good and everything was fine, but on the surgery date, when they were about to get my consent form, a fly was buzzing around the consultation room and the manager shooed it out with an embarrassed expression. Starting from there, I had a bad feeling. But it was already too late to back out. I entered the operating room, had the surgery, and did everything I was told.
After surgery, for 2 weeks I didn’t go anywhere and did exactly as I was told. I only stayed home and focused on recovery(?), but all the lines loosened, and on top of that, an eye hollow I had never seen before suddenly appeared,. Since he indirectly said he had removed fat during surgery, I said, “Then isn’t it because you removed fat that I developed an eye hollow?” Then he suddenly changed his words again and said he hadn’t removed fat. (What is this..?) Also, even a clearly visible scar on the line..^^ haha My eyes became absurd and burdensome to even put into words... Please refer to the photos.. Oh, and he kept saying it would settle with time, but guess what, it gets even stranger as time passes.. haha He said he would do revision surgery for me, but I can no longer entrust surgery on my eyes to this place.. I’m also planning to have fat grafting, so I’m going to go to a hospital that can do even that surgery..
Maybe he judged that he had some degree of responsibility for the surgery, because he recommended revision surgery. For that part, I was grateful because it looked like he was trying to take responsibility. But I really can’t bring myself to do it here anymore, or rather I’m scared now, so I’m going to visit to request some level of refund.. I hope he returns at least as much as the cost of revision surgery.
Ah, but I also had nasal tip surgery during the surgery, and the nasal tip turned out amazingly well. I recommend the nose surgery..!
