My nasal bridge itself is high, but I had been thinking about rhinoplasty for a long time because of my hump nose. I already have double eyelids and my eyes aren’t small either. But my double eyelids are uneven on both sides, and I like a glamorous line (Jang Wonyoung style), so I wanted to set them higher. Since I was getting nose surgery, I also got double eyelid surgery consultations at the same time. I had consultations at three places. ㅇㅅㅇㅇㅊ ㅇㄷㅍ ㄹㅂ
1. ㅇㅅㅇㅇㅊ
I went for a consultation because it was recommended as a place that does natural-looking noses well! It’s a private clinic, and I didn’t care whether it was a big hospital or a small one. I just wanted to find a doctor who matched me.
I went in at my reserved consultation time and had a nasal endoscopy first! It wasn’t anything major or painful, just the thing they use at a local clinic to look inside your nose or ears when you have a cold lol There was no extra charge for the endoscopy!
First, the consultant was soft-spoken and really kind, and the doctor was also really kind and gave a very detailed consultation while drawing everything out in detail, so I didn’t really have anything to ask.
Since it was my first consultation, I didn’t know much and hadn’t really studied up beforehand... haha But they explained everything in so much detail that the consultation was good. I also liked that they clearly told me what was possible and what wasn’t. If it matches the aesthetic you’re pursuing, I think it wouldn’t be bad to get a consultation there.
But there were a lot of options added, like crooked nose correction + hump correction + silicone for the nasal bridge + ear cartilage for the nasal tip + costal cartilage.
They said my nasal septum was very deviated, so they couldn’t use the septal cartilage and would have to build the nasal bridge only with costal cartilage. Since my septum is deviated, they said I could also do rhinitis surgery covered by insurance if I wanted. But my rhinitis is allergic rhinitis, and since childhood I’ve barely had rhinitis symptoms, so I didn’t really have discomfort and said I wouldn’t do it.
For the double eyelids, they said they would do buried sutures, and since my glabella area is wide, they also told me to do medial canthoplasty. But I wasn’t planning to do medial canthoplasty, so I was a bit conflicted.
I don’t remember the exact price, but eyes + nose together was 6.4 million won. That was the price after things like student exam-taker discount or model discount.
2. ㅇㄷㅍ
For eyes, I consulted with Dr. ㄱㅇㅌ, and for the nose, with Dr. ㄱㅂㅅ. The total consultation fee was 10,000 won, and there were a lot of people who came for consultations... haha There was a bit of a wait.
First of all, the doctors, consultant, and staff were all very kind. I’m a bit introverted, so when people are too overwhelmingly kind, it can feel a little much... haha But it was the kind of friendliness that let me comfortably say what I wanted during the consultation(?), so I felt it was really good lol My assigned consultant seemed extremely extroverted, but it was comfortable!
After sitting for a while, I went into a room and they took several photos from 45-degree and 90-degree side angles and from the front, and also took a nose CT.
Personally, I don’t like a ski-slope nose line, so the nose I wanted was technically a straight-to-slightly-curved ski-slope line, but really almost straight, with just a tiny bit of curve in the line connecting the nasal bridge to the nasal tip! I wanted a natural-looking line that dropped like that. I brought photos of an influencer I normally thought was pretty and liked, and from the review photos, it looked like they were good at making the exact nose lines I was aiming for.
I had the nose consultation first and told them the nose shape I just described.
But Dr. Kim... maybe because I’m shy around new people, there kept being silences during the consultation, which was kind of funny lolol
My nasal bridge near the glabella wasn’t originally low, so I didn’t want to heighten the bridge itself, and I also didn’t want silicone if possible. Then the doctor suggested shaving the hump and covering it with dermis or something, but I was worried that once it absorbed over time, the shaved hump line might show, so I ended up deciding to place one thin layer of silicone. At ㅇㅅㅇㅇㅊ, they said they couldn’t use my septal cartilage, so I asked about that too. But Dr. Kim looked at the CT and said the part of the septum used during surgery wasn’t very deviated and could be used, so I was a bit confused at that point. For crooked nose correction too, the doctor said that from his perspective it wasn’t deviated enough to need surgery, just very slightly! so we decided not to do it haha I liked that the clinic overall had an atmosphere of recommending things moderately. After I told them everything I wanted, I waited a bit and then went for the eye consultation.
Dr. Gu’s consultation was really short... For the eyes, I had personally done quite a lot of research, so I wrote things on a pad and showed him. I said I really wanted to fix my uneven eyes, and he said a person’s face isn’t only asymmetric in the eyes, but the facial bones themselves are asymmetric, so double eyelid surgery alone can’t make them perfectly match. Like ㅇㅅㅇㅇㅊ, he clearly told me what was possible and what wasn’t, which I liked. He tried setting the line a few times and set it as the glamorous in-out line I wanted, and said it was possible, so I was happy. An out-fold line was too much for my eyes. Dr. Gu’s consultation felt like it passed really quickly, so I don’t have much to say. For the eyes, upper canthoplasty + partial incision came out to 2.2 million won.
In the end, I decided to get my eyes and nose done at Wonderful, and I’ll write a surgery review later. The total price came out to 5.15 million won, and that was the discounted price under the condition that I write a review.

Um... haha I won’t talk long about this place... My friend had double eyelid surgery here last year and it turned out well, so I booked a consultation.
The consultant was kind. I had consultations for both eyes and nose with the head doctor, and personally I felt the doctor was a little unfriendly. From my perspective, I also felt a bit uneasy that the exact surgical method was explained not by the doctor but by the consultant (they said she used to work in an operating room). I don’t remember the options in detail, but eyes + nose together originally came out to over 10 million won. They said they would reduce it to 5.6 million won with a model discount.
