I was originally hesitant about epicanthoplasty (because of scarring) But this!! I really hope you definitely do it!! An acquaintance of mine has eyes similar to mine, but didn’t get epicanthoplasty and only had double eyelid surgery, and how should I put it.. her eyes ended up looking really stuffy I saw that and thought I should at least get epicanthoplasty, so I did it I’m so satisfied If you have monolids and are considering epicanthoplasty, especially if your eyes are similar to mine, I really, really want to recommend it!!
About side effects Overall, I didn’t really get scars. This might be because of my constitution. I did it at the same time as my nose, but I didn’t even bruise badly on my face, and compared with other people I was relatively fine. I wondered if maybe my self-healing ability was kind of good. But the hospital I went to is also very famous among older people, so I also wonder if they operate in a way that doesn’t leave scars and lets you recover very quickly?.. I don’t know the cause, but anyway, I recovered quickly without a single scar
At first, what should I call the epicanthoplasty scar(?) the inner corner of my eye became really hard. I was so nervous it would turn into a scar that I eventually even called the hospital and said I thought this had become a scar.. But while I was about to make an appointment after calling, the scar disappeared completely, so I didn’t make the appointment and I’m just living like this. No scar remained at all! I think I waited about 2? 3? months for the scar to disappear! If there’s anything uncomfortable, after epicanthoplasty, eye discharge builds up really easily on the inside. It’s also hard to remove. Other than that it’s okay. I’m satisfied with my eyes. I think the parts that are lacking can just be covered with makeup, so I’m going to live like that
If I were to give advice about eye surgery, I’d recommend going to a place that’s good at it and getting an incision if possible. With non-incision, it comes undone too easily Even my friend had hers come undone 3 times and had a hard time
