Before <Before surgery> After <2 days after surgery> After <2 days before stitch removal> After <1 month after surgery> After <Before/after hand swelling> Writing in a clipped style (I wrote this so hard but it all disappeared, so I'm writing it again tte-ing)
First of all, I've had a lot of concerns about upper arm fat for a long time Even when I lost a lot of weight and my belly/waist fat went down, my arms and thighs stayed the same, and honestly for a while I just accepted it and lived resigned to it But once fall-winter came and I wore turtlenecks I liked, the upper arm fat sticking out to the sides looked so awful
Then I heard from people around me that arm liposuction has really high satisfaction, so I spent several days doing online research, checked reviews on this community + other sources, and decided to get consultations for arm liposuction.
At the place where I got the consultation, both the consultant and doctor were kind, but I also liked that there was no excessive pressure and they told me unnecessary areas were unnecessary For example, I had almost no accessory breast tissue, and they said it would be nice to do it, but even if I didn't, it wouldn't have a major impact on my arm line And the results came out almost the same as the expected fat extraction amount and circumference we discussed during the consultation
Expected size/extraction amount before surgery: 2.5cm-3cm reduction / about 1500cc extractable Measured size/extraction amount after surgery: 3cm reduction / about 1600cc extracted
As I said, since upper arm fat had been a concern for me for a long time, I'd tried fat-dissolving injections at several places and various procedures, but honestly, considering the cost per session, I really think there was almost no effect So I did think a bit about liposuction itself, but since just saving up the money I'd spend on a few rounds of fat-dissolving injections would be enough for liposuction, I made up my mind firmly on liposuction and decided on surgery too
On the day of surgery, I was a little worried, and (an N's imagination) the disinfectant was really cold too! But the operating room nurse was really kind, and going under anesthesia happened in an instant... When I woke up, I was already wearing the compression garment, and there was porridge in front of me, so half-asleep I was eating porridge (My practical goal was not to say nonsense while under anesthesia)
I went in comfortable clothes, but a lot of disinfectant got on my gray tracksuit... So I'd recommend mainly wearing black/navy clothes where it won't show no matter how much gets on them
After surgery, for about two days my arms felt so heavy, like transparent aliens were attached to them, but I heard it was good to stretch a lot, so from about day 4 I went to cardio, PT, and Pilates all again When I got radiofrequency care, they said maybe because of that, my armpits were less clumped up
Now, a little over 1 month later, I still have some BioBond, so there are slightly clumped areas in my arms, but for the past few days I've been gently rubbing with baby oil as moisturizing massage (they said not to knead), and it does seem to be loosening a bit Other than that, my skin type scars very easily (to the level that even mosquito bites leave scars), so I'm focusing on getting rid of the scars!! And maybe because the fat is gone? From around week 3, I really got a lot of chills in my arm area Now that I'm entering weeks 4 and 5, the chills have almost decreased, though
As a result, from around week 3, the arm areas of my Pilates clothes that used to fit perfectly became loose with extra room, and turtlenecks that used to cling tightly now have plenty of room in the arms too I'm so satisfied that the time and money I wasted(?) on fat-dissolving injections feels regrettable
