Director Guk Kyung-hoon gave the most thorough consultation, and I tend to have a lot of questions, but it was an environment where I could comfortably ask what I was curious about, so I chose Just Plastic Surgery!
The biggest reason I decided on nose surgery was correction of my bulbous nose, and because I absolutely wanted a natural!! result, I emphasized a lot that I wanted the nasal tip raised only slightly. I said I wanted it to feel moderately rounded rather than the nasal tip becoming perfectly sharp. I wanted septal cartilage, but my nasal septum was quite deviated, so I had no choice but to use donated costal cartilage + ear cartilage ㅠㅠ
While raising the nasal tip slightly, the bridge also needed to be raised, but I didn’t want to use silicone, so we used only the minimum amount of ear cartilage, and at the same time shaved the hump a little. Because silicone wasn’t used, a thin layer of donated dermis was placed to cover unevenness. Oh, they also pulled out the recessed columella a little to correct my long nose.
The photos are right after removing the splint on day 7 after surgery. It’s still very swollen, so I think I’ll only know the result after the swelling goes down, but for now, my side profile seems to have come out nicely in a straight line, so I think it’s okay! I just want the major swelling to go down quickly and to see the shape of my nose~~
