Cheekbone Surgery Reviews@cheekbone-review

Leaving a 3-year review of behind-the-ear square jaw surgery (male)

Before, I didn’t know about communities like this, and I had surgery after looking around here and there.

To mark joining, I’m leaving a review.

Three years ago, I had a severe square jaw, so I had surgery at a place near Hakdong Station that is famous for behind-the-ear square jaw surgery.

I had the surgery around November 2019, and like many common reviews from others, from about day 4 to 1 week, it only felt about like having wisdom teeth removed and I was just left with scars, so I went to work normally and lived my daily life.

At that time, no one around me noticed. When people asked why my face was swollen, I said I had my wisdom teeth removed, and everyone accepted it.

As for swelling, after 1 week to 2 months, all the major swelling went down, and from then on a slimmer face appeared. I think the subtle residual swelling remained until about 6 months.

For scars, which you may be worried about, if I look behind my ears in a mirror or photo, there is still a little left, but it is in a folded area to begin with,

and my ear shape is not protruding like a monkey’s but attached to the side of my head, so not a single person noticed.

(I didn’t even tell my family I had surgery. I live independently, so when I saw my parents 1-2 months later, it looked natural.)

Now, 3 years later, there is no facial skin sagging, and I live very satisfied. I also have no abnormal sensation or other side effects.

However, although I originally have some facial fat relative to my weight, my jawline is not completely sharp like it was before surgery. (I don’t mean it isn’t slim.)

How should I put it? Before, it felt like the skin was attached right onto the jaw, but now it feels slightly rounded? This is hard to explain.)

To summarize in one line, I am very satisfied with the surgical result.
