Consultation Visits Review for Sausage-Like Double Eyelid + Overcorrected Ptosis Correction

Sausage-like double eyelid on one eye, mucosal eversion + overcorrected ptosis correction

1. There is enough excess eyelid skin. Excision on only one eye (only one side has the sausage-like eyelid). Changing it from an out-fold to an in-fold is impossible, but they said they could make it look like an in-out fold by doing a slight upper epicanthoplasty. The doctor and the consultant were very kind. They also said they would do a revision ptosis correction.

2. There is no excess eyelid skin (all the other clinics said there was excess skin, but this was the only place that said there wasn’t. When I looked on another forum, there was someone in the same situation as me; in that post, they said that person also turned out not to have excess skin... and that it would have been a big problem if they had gone through with it). Eyelid retraction repair is needed (this may not go well in one surgery; a 2nd or 3rd surgery may be needed). Eyelid retraction is difficult, but lowering the line and correcting the mucosal eversion are easy. In the current state, I must not do anything like creating a second line or excision. They told me to come back once the redness is gone. Surgery is not possible right now.

Every clinic says something different... I don’t know what I should do. The more honest consultation was No. 2, and No. 2 is famous for revision surgery, so I’m leaning toward it..
