Before <before surgery> After <2 weeks post-op> After <1 month post-op> After <2 and a half months post-op> After <2 and a half months post-op> After <3 months> I kept debating whether or not to have surgery, then visited 9 clinics before deciding on surgery, so I’m posting a review.
I was always concerned about my eyes because they looked short, droopy, and gave a blank impression, so I had been considering anterior and posterior canthoplasty and double eyelid surgery.
But at the clinic, they recommended not only anterior and posterior canthoplasty, but also lower eyelid surgery and a brow lift, so I had them done together. Lower eyelid surgery is a procedure that slightly lifts the drooping angle of the eyes, and a brow lift is a procedure that narrows the distance between the eyebrows and the eyes.
I decided to have surgery because I had heard that the eye clinic where I had the surgery was good and did not leave noticeable scars.
I’ll also show photos by recovery stage.
In the past, my eyes were far apart, so I had a kind but overly innocent-looking image. But as my eyebrows came down, the blank-looking impression disappeared and the change looks natural, so I’m very satisfied. People around me also said it doesn’t look too obvious and that my eyes got much bigger.
For about 2 weeks after surgery, there was some swelling and bruising, and from the 1-month mark only minor residual swelling remained, so people around me found it surprising too. Especially after the 1-month mark, I could visibly see it settling well and continuing to improve. I think this may be helpful for those who are worried about the recovery period.
My eyes look much clearer now, and overall I’m very satisfied.
