Is it real that I went to a total of 12 clinics for eye revision surgery consultations? That just shows how desperate I am I went to Promise, Private, Noh Sang-hoon, AM, and Hyundai Mihak near Sinsa Station.
1. Promise - Director Ryu Seok-tae (solo practice) I went here because a YouTuber (ㅎㅈ) had such a successful revision surgery!! I felt like there were way more reviews about natural adhesion here than incision-based surgery. But I really liked the natural adhesion line, and the director also said we should do natural adhesion. He said that anyway, when you get older your eyes droop and you end up needing revision surgery, so there is no need to do an incision in your young years. It was also the first time someone told me that if I had ptosis correction, the eye shape would look awkward and not suit me at all! (Because the lower part of the eye is blocked, if only the upper part opens too wide, it would look strange.) They said canthoplasty wasn’t really necessary either and only recommended natural adhesion, so that was nice, but at the same time I felt a bit uneasy Maybe because I went in the morning, there was no wait~~ The consultant was kind, and the director kept adjusting the line more than 10 times, so that was nice. Both the manager and the director were kind, and there was no pressure to book on the spot. Good good.

2. Private - Director Lee Jun-woo I’ve seen a lot of people succeed with incision-based revision surgery here~ I thought they definitely wouldn’t recommend natural adhesion, and sure enough they recommended incision surgery And the hospital facilities here were so good... so flashy... seriously... it’s on the 15th floor so the view is amazing Compared with other places, I didn’t wait that long for the consultation, and they kept bringing coffee and checking on me, so I felt really, really good! But the director seemed busy and doesn’t seem like the type who pushes recommendations! When I asked whether canthoplasty was necessary, he said it could be done or not done... if I wanted the line to show more, do it, and if I was okay with the eye being blocked, then don’t do canthoplasty... Instead, he recommended incision surgery rather than natural adhesion, and said some skin removal would also be needed (scary~~) Still, I know the director’s skill is good~! If I decide on an incision, I might want to do it here!! Even though there were a lot of people, I’m really thankful to the managers for taking such good care of me When I was visiting clinics around Gangnam, I keep remembering how I waited in the consultation room for the director alone for more than an hour and a half...ㅡㅡ Ah!!! And I heard this place is expensive, so I went in really nervous But it honestly didn’t seem that expensive after all. Of course, if you add canthoplasty or ptosis correction, it would probably cost more.

3. Noh Sang-hoon - Director Kim Da-han Ah!!!! This was my number one in my heart, but after the consultation it felt like everything was falling apart All the reviews I really liked and saved were works by Director Kim Da-han... but after looking at my eyes, he said my deep-set eyes are severe and the inner corner is blocked, so an in-out line would be difficult He explained the reason really well, I think, but I was so shocked that I forgot everything... He said that I would need to either do non-incisional surgery with an out-line so the inner corner wouldn’t be blocked, or have incisional surgery and set the line lower than my current one as a small double eyelid so it wouldn’t unravel.... Just thinking about it now is still so shocking... so I forgot my whole question list and the consultation ended in the shortest possible time. When the director asked if I had any questions, I was like, umm.. in-out... higher than now... and he bluntly said it wouldn’t work. This place is known for natural-looking in-out lines, so why can’t it work for meㅡㅡ Still, I think he does clearly say when something just won’t work. The cost was also low, which I really liked, but I don’t think I’ll actually go there for surgery.. what a shame.

4. AM - Director Jo Young-gyu (solo practice) After going here, I realized just how important the manager is in deciding whether to make a reservation. Why are they so kind, so thorough in consultation, and so serious about hearing your worries that it makes you want to book immediately!! My current big dilemma is choosing between natural adhesion and incision surgery, and they explained the pros and cons in detail. Since I kept hesitating, they advised that if I keep going back and forth like this, it would be better to do natural adhesion once first and then, if needed, have revision surgery later... They didn’t feel like a typical hospital manager; it felt more relaxed and kind... And the hospital atmosphere, I don’t know, felt small and like a place only people who know it well would visit, which I also liked. The director seemed extremely thorough, so the surgery time is also longer than for other people, and they said the pre-op design consultation takes almost an hour. All of buried, partial incision, and incision methods are possible, and each has pros and cons, but they recommend the incision method because it is less likely to unravel, though the choice is mine! This was the consultation I liked most so far, and there was absolutely no overtreatment... but the cost is a bit high... A broke college student has a hard time even getting double eyelid surgery...~ sigh, my life 2.5 million for an incision is over my budget. If I do it here, I think I’d choose natural adhesion + ptosis correction, and probably not incision.
Price (ugh.. I can’t remember whether there was a photo-provision condition) - Buried + ptosis correction 1,600,000 KRW - Partial incision 1,800,000 KRW - Incision 2,500,000 KRW Aftercare: basically 1 year, but they said they would keep checking the progress and would still handle it after 1 year if it loosens or the line becomes lower
5. Hyundai Mihak - Director Kim Yo-han I had already been to 4 consultations, but it was still before 3 p.m., so I just went into a random place and asked if I could get a consultation! My first impression after going in was something like... everyone seemed older and there were a lot of foreigners? The director probably most famous for eye revision surgery is Director Hwang Ho, but I thought the wait would be long, so I just had a consultation with Director Kim Yo-han. Even though I went without a reservation, I was lucky enough to get a consultation without waiting, which was nice, but this place seems to mostly recommend incision surgery As soon as the manager saw me, they bluntly asked, our hospital recommends incision surgery for a case like yours, is that okay? Anyway, I got consulted for incision surgery~~~ and was told the price. At first they quoted 2.6 million, right? But then they asked me how much I had in mind. So I said, um... I’m budgeting around 2 million... and then suddenly they lowered it to 2.2 million. What?? Strange, somehow. (I should have just gone home.. I only made myself tired by looking at one more place.)
Price: 2,200,000 KRW They didn’t say anything about aftercare or post-op management I forgot too, and the manager didn’t mention it either.
Anyway, that makes a total of 12 places I visited..! I also wrote reviews for clinics near Gangnam Station. I’m tired now, so I’m just going to choose from those 12 What I need to choose is probably the surgery method!!!
