I didn’t want incision marks on my eyes, and my eyelids were thin with almost no fat, so I had buried-suture double eyelid surgery.... In years 1-2 it had some presence, but after that it quickly became natural. After 4 years, the line started getting smaller depending on my condition. Then in year 5 it came undone (the line is there, but disappears when I open my eyes...?) My eyelids were thin enough that people around me said it seemed like I could get a crease if I used double eyelid tape a bit, but seeing that it still came undone, I recommend doing at least a partial incision.
