Following my two-week review after having 295 cc Mentor X implants placed through an inframammary incision at Note, here is my one-month review.
Pain: As I entered the third week, the pain from raising my arms, pulling around the incision, muscle aches, unexplained stinging and prickling had decreased, but nipple pain became worse. This pain was seriously driving me crazy, but I asked people around me who had given birth, and they said the symptoms were similar to milk fever, so it made sense. Right, my nerves were recovering. Ah, I almost spiraled again and started feeding myself psychological problems lol. Then, as if by magic, the pain became minimal in the fourth week. I still occasionally get sharp, prickling pain here and there, but now I can just think that the nerves are coming back to life and laugh it off.
Feel: Until week two, they felt extremely tight and firm. Like a thick, hard balloon? But from week three, it seemed to gradually soften. You inevitably touch your breasts while washing in the shower, right? They felt like fairly firm pudding. That was when I realized why people say Mentor X has the best feel, and I was moved. Mentor X is truly the absolute best.
Daily life: From the middle of week three, I became able to travel while holding subway and bus handles. Before that, I was careful and held onto poles to brace myself, and in the first place I could barely raise my arms because it hurt. Now I can freely wear clothes other than button-up blouses or shirts. Yes, my quality of life is recovering to something similar to before surgery 😉
After surgery, I started the Bob hook on the second-to-last hook, but now I have tightened it to the innermost hook. Amazing, right? It is time to take off the Bob and switch to the Sub, and I am happy at the thought of finally being freed from these awful nipple patches. Sigh... one month felt so long.
Now that I have breasts, when I get dressed my silhouette feels like that of an adult woman. I was moved. I do not even have a push-up bra, but I look like a woman... what do I do? T_T I genuinely have zero regrets about the breast surgery, and I am going to put having the surgery with Director Jang in my top 10 best decisions of this year.
One-line summary: As one month approaches, the pain and feel have changed a lot, and daily life has become easier.
