Nose Surgery Consultation Review (2) - 3 Flashy-Style Places

For the natural-style nose surgery consultation review, go here! https://sungyesa.com/new/bbs/board.php?bo_table=walk&wr_id=8893

I felt like I should make it a bit flashy on the first try so I wouldn’t need revision surgery later, so I also looked into flashy-style places haha I think I really filtered and filtered the places that do flashy styles ㅠㅠ I think I narrowed it down from almost 40 places

Even though it would definitely be my first nose surgery, because my nose is small and short... and bulbous, everyone who said they could make it flashy recommended using costal cartilage. (There were also places in the natural-style post that recommended using costal cartilage)

Oh, and while it’s also because I’m trying to schedule surgery as quickly as possible, personality-wise I’m not the type to care about things like someone’s way of speaking, so I never felt offended during consultations! Everyone who is sensitive to things like tone of speech, please just take this as a reference

1. ㄷㄷㅇ <Director Kim ㅌㅅ> Consultant: I either didn’t receive a business card or there wasn’t one;; Consultation fee: 0 won Waiting time: X - Specialist: O (separate anesthesiology specialist O) - Price: first surgery mid-1 million won range + α → total mid-4 million won range if using donated costal cartilage / total high-5 million won range if using autologous costal cartilage - Materials: silicone, costal cartilage - CT: O - A/S: 1 year - CCTV: O (viewing possible upon request) - Postoperative care: O The director used my photos to show me what kind of feel the surgery would create. Also, even though this place does flashy styles, since my face is on the round side, they tried to make it suit my face shape well! (rounded nasal tip)

They told me a lot of things about using costal cartilage here and told me to think about whether to use autologous costal cartilage or donated costal cartilage The consultant was really kind too. Since she knew I had visited many hospitals and would be visiting other places too, she said pleasantly, ‘Please look around well, and I really hope you make a good choice at a place that suits you.’

2. ㅍㄹㅁㅇ <Director Choi ㅎㅅ> Consultant: Manager Park Chaewon Consultation fee: 10,000 Waiting time: over 1 hour - Specialist: O (separate anesthesiology specialist O) - Price: mid-5 million won range - Materials: silicone + donated costal cartilage or autologous costal cartilage - CT: O (maybe.... my head is all over the place these days, sorry ㅠㅠ) - A/S: 1 year - CCTV: O (viewing possible upon request) - Postoperative care: I didn’t ask - Functional nose surgery: They told me not to do functional nose surgery because it could recur in my case.

3. ㄴㅇㄷ <Director Lee ㅂㅈ> Consultant: I didn’t receive either the consultant’s business card or a text; (maybe she was busy. There was some waiting after I came out from the consultation.) Consultation fee: 0 won Waiting time: 0 to 10 minutes Consultation details: - Specialist: O - Price: (bulbous nose + silicone, etc.) high-3 million won range + donated costal cartilage low-1 million won range - 200,000 won if additional discount benefits apply - Materials: silicone, septal cartilage, ear cartilage used as much as possible → if septal cartilage is insufficient, donated costal cartilage used. (nasal tip) - CT: O - A/S: 1 year (for problems such as inflammation/side effects, the period can be adjusted) - CCTV: Available (need to recheck whether viewing is confirmed) - Postoperative care: O *Because it’s a private clinic, you can see the director even after surgery and during postoperative hospital visits. (※ I didn’t ask about things like laser or pumpkin juice)

The consultation itself felt the best here, and I learned a lot. Even though I asked a lot of different things, they kindly explained each one, which was nice. Maybe because it’s a private clinic, they schedule a maximum of 3 or fewer surgeries per day, and I liked most that they seemed to manage each patient individually.

They showed how the nose would be lifted by holding my nose with a cotton swab. Also, my face is quite asymmetrical, and this was the first person who explained how they would position the nose for that. (Other places said that since it’s asymmetry, the nose looking crooked can’t be helped ㅠㅠ)

What was disappointing was that the director seemed on the younger side? and the consultant was busy, so toward the end it felt like they were trying to wrap things up too quickly ㅠㅠ Still, I’m thankful they listened to my questions until the end haha.. Even so, I think I had the longest consultation here! (Personally, I liked the consultant because she was so cuteㅋㅋㅋㅋ But this might depend on personal preference?)

Anyway, this is my first surgery, and seeing that in the end 4 out of 7 places recommended using costal cartilage ㅠㅠ I think I’ll just go with using costal cartilage.... I’m really torn between autologous costal cartilage and donated costal cartilage, and I think my in-person consultations may end here!! I searched online for 3 whole days, staying up all night, so I filtered a lot out, and the places I visited this time were places where the negative reviews were really only about subjective things!

If you’re curious about anything else, ask anytime! I’ll try my best to answer based on what I remember and what I wrote down :)
