I really can’t live like this because of my nose. When I was young, I was randomly assaulted, so my nasal bone became crooked and I lived with a hump nose. Then I had surgery for a deviated septum and underwent inferior turbinate resection surgery.
I used to breathe only through my mouth, and now I can breathe through my nose, but it doesn’t feel natural.
When I was young, during elementary school sports day, I even came in first in long-distance running, so I guess my nose really does have a problem.
Whenever people are near me, they talk a lot and loudly, and keep touching their noses. Recently, I was talking with someone and they cut me off in the middle of what I was saying.
I’ve been to many different ENT clinics, and generally they say my septum is slightly deviated, but the surgery straightened it well. They say my airway isn’t narrow and is average. That’s what they tell me. I want to breathe naturally~ I should go see Director Choi Hong-sik, an authority on voice disorders and the larynx at Jeil ENT in Seoul, and also have a consultation with Professor Jang Yong-ju at Asan Medical Center sometime. I need to consult about deviated septum surgery or other functional surgery... Or maybe I should try having surgery with Director Choi Hong-sik. Breathing is still so hard at age 43... It’s so hard to breathe. Still, I’m relieved that I can breathe through my nose to some extent now, but before surgery I breathed completely only through my mouth, so how bad must that have been for my lungs?
It’s like having a disability, sigh... The osteotomy was also done wrong, so I need to look into revision surgery. Why is my life like this? I’ve already had functional surgery twice... If I do it once more, it’ll be the third time. I’ve also had cosmetic surgery onceㅡㅡ I feel like my whole life will pass by while getting nose surgeries.
