About 10 years ago, I had non-incisional double eyelid surgery twice, and I lived without any major problems, but when I removed my makeup, my eyes looked extremely sleepy, so I ended up going around for consultations for ptosis correction. Wow, even though I was busy, I went to 5 places lol I wrote them in order.
Ah! First of all, I’m someone who pursues a natural style that doesn’t stray too far from my current image, rather than something dramatic... A natural look,,, a smooth, well-made incision line.... that’s important..
My condition is: slightly protruding eyes / no fat around the eyes (hollowing above the eyes) / sleepy-looking eyes / had epicanthoplasty and non-incisional double eyelid surgery
1) ㄱㄹㄷ Doctor’s opinion: To do ptosis correction properly, incision is the only option for my eyes; planned fat repositioning above the eyes / line similar to now Impression: Maybe because the doctor is from Gyeongsang-do, they seemed quick-tempered, and maybe busy, so it felt like they explained quickly and then went off to surgery. It wasn’t bad, but maybe because it was the first place I visited, I didn’t get the feeling of “Wow, this is the place!”
2) ㄱㄹㅂ This place has doctors assigned by area, so I trusted it a bit more. Also, my friend had non-incisional surgery here and it looked very natural, so I went for a consultation. Doctor’s opinion: For ptosis correction, incision is the only option for my eyes. Fat repositioning above the eyes / line similar Impression: They don’t explain in great detail, but rather than telling me to do this and that, it felt like they were trying to keep it as natural and minimal as possible, so I trusted them. Parking looks convenient. Valet.. possible..
3) ㅇㅁㄷ This place is also said to be famous for eyes, and first of all, someone I know had it done and recommended it, so I visited. Getting a reservation was a bit difficult. Doctor’s opinion: To do ptosis correction properly, incision is the only option for my eyes / planned fat repositioning / BUT they do not recommend fat grafting above the eyes. Impression: They explained the most kindly and in the most detail. In particular, they explained that they do not recommend fat grafting above the eyes. They were very kind. Parking looks difficult here... haha
4) ㄹㅎ This is a place I went to because someone I know had a consultation and said it was decent, and people around me who had surgery there looked good. Director ㅂㅇ said they only do revision surgeries, and since mine is a revision too, fortunately I had a consultation with this doctor. I went at opening time, but maybe because it was the weekend, there were so many patients it felt like a marketplace.. Doctor’s opinion: For ptosis correction, incision is the only option for my eyes. Fat repositioning above the eyes / line similar / the unusual point was that they strongly recommended fat grafting above the eyes for me. This was the first place that told me I should get fat grafting above the eyes, so I was flustered and am debating whether I should or shouldn’t.. Impression: This doctor also explained quite kindly. But they did look busy. I guess they must be busy.. The doctor at ㅇㅁㄷ said they don’t recommend fat grafting, but this place strongly recommended it, so I got confused...
5) ㄴㅅㅎ I found this place while searching too and booked a consultation Doctor’s opinion: For ptosis correction, incision is the only option for my eyes. Fat repositioning above the eyes / line similar / this place too.. strongly recommended fat grafting above the eyes for me. Impression: They were chic,, and the explanation wasn’t very detailed,, but since I had already gone to 4 places for consultations, I didn’t really ask any additional questions. It ended quickly. Of all days, I visited ㄹㅎ and ㄴㅅㅎ on the same day, and both places recommended fat grafting above the eyes, so I became extremely confused. Should I add it or not.. ㅇㅁㄷ said they don’t recommend it.. even though the doctors’ opinions are half and half... I’m extremely confused.
After visiting places 1 to 3, I had made up my mind on 2), but after hearing strong recommendations for fat grafting above the eyes at 4 and 5, I’m confused now.. If anyone has a similar situation to mine, or has already had surgery like this, please help me..
