Around 2009, I had buried double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty at a plastic surgery clinic where my cousin's older friend said she worked. Back then I really knew nothing about plastic surgery, hahaha My cousin introduced me, so I went and had it done thinking of course they’d do it well for me, hahaha Later I found out the cost was on the expensive side. Right after the surgery, I thought I liked it, but after just one year the line had completely loosened, and the shape of the epicanthoplasty gradually started to feel strange too.
So I just lived like that, and then around 2016, when I felt I should get it done again, a friend introduced me to a hospital she often went to, so I just went for a consultation and booked it that same day.
Actually, I don't especially have a style I want, and I’m the type to think the doctor will make the shape that suits my face best, so I just trust them and leave it to them, but both times the style came out very differently ㅋㅋㅋ The first time I had my double eyelids, the canthoplasty was made thin and long, and overall it gave me a horizontally long eye shape. The second time I had my double eyelids, the canthoplasty was made a little rounder, and overall it gave me a larger, rounder eye shape.
But I guess my eyes just don’t hold well.. Even with the second one, six months later the inner front part of my right eye had loosened, so I went back, and they said they’d do after-service, so they pinched just the front part a bit again, but that also loosened after about 5 years. When I wake up, my eyes are swollen so the double eyelid line looks like an in-line; by lunchtime the swelling goes down and only the line remains. I do want to have the right eye, which was pinched once more, pinched a little again, but I’m just going to keep the double eyelids as they are.

Starting last year, the sagging under my eyes suddenly became noticeable, and it bothers me every time I look in the mirror.. I want to properly look into this and get it done, so I’ve been doing a lot of research for the past couple of months, but since the things I had done before were just things I went ahead with without comparing reviews or prices, the more I research, the less I seem to understand ㅋㅋㅋ Anyway, I think I need to set up a consultation and go see them.
