Natural adhesion + medial upper epicanthoplasty 2-week review .ᐟ.ᐟ

I did have double eyelids, but they would disappear when my eyes got swollen, and even normally they would only stay if I opened my eyes with force or used mascara. That had been so stressful for years, so since I took a leave of absence from school, I thought this was the time and decided to get double-eyelid surgery .ᐟ

I live outside Seoul, so there weren’t any places running events and there weren’t reviews on plastic surgery apps, so I decided to go to Seoul to get it done.

While looking for places running events on plastic surgery apps like ㅂㅂㅌ, ㄱㄴㅁㅇ, etc., I found an inexpensive place with good reviews, so I read all the reviews and even read all the community reviews. It seemed really good, so I immediately applied for a consultation.

I had a consultation through KakaoTalk first, and the consultant was so kind. I liked that they clearly said no when something wasn’t possible and didn’t try to push this and that .ᐟ

And most of all, since I live outside Seoul, the travel cost + time going back and forth is no joke, so I was looking for a place where I could have the consultation and surgery on the same day. They said it was possible, so after only the KakaoTalk consultation, I paid the deposit and made the reservation.

Until the day I went to Seoul for the surgery, the price was so cheap that I went half suspicious and half excited, but after consulting with the director, I became convinced that it would be okay to do it here.

During the consultation with the director, they asked what line I wanted, so I showed photos and said I wanted an in-out line. They marked the line several times until a line I liked came out .ᐟ

And originally, rather than medial upper epicanthoplasty, I wanted lateral lower canthoplasty, but they explained in detail why that wouldn’t work and told me the benefits of medial upper epicanthoplasty, so I just trusted the director and decided to do medial upper epicanthoplasty.

During the consultation, they said my eye-opening strength was fine, so I probably didn’t need ptosis correction separately, and I liked that they didn’t recommend this and that haha.

After the consultation, we did the design and I entered the operating room, but suddenly I got so, so nervous and scared that I whined that I was scared of sedation anesthesia. The nurses were so kind and reassured me that it was okay, so I think I was able to do well.

I was scared because of the anesthetic injections, but here they briefly put me to sleep for about 5 minutes with sedation anesthesia and then gave the local anesthetic injections, so there was zero pain. In the middle I said it felt a bit prickly, and they gave me more injections, so it didn’t hurt at all .ᐟ.ᐟ

During the surgery, if I said something was a little uncomfortable, the nurses kindly took care of it, so I was able to receive it comfortably and come out.

After the surgery, everyone in the recovery room was also so kind. Most of all, the director personally came in, said it went well, and told me how to take care of it. They were so kind that while I was dazed from the anesthesia, I was moved by myself ㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

It’s been about 2 weeks since the surgery. Even on the day of surgery, the swelling wasn’t that severe to begin with, and now it is still noticeable, but most of the swelling has gone down and the line seems to have come out just the way I wanted, so I’m really happy ෆ⸒⸒

And I was really worried about scarring from the epicanthoplasty, but there isn’t as much scar tissue as I expected and it isn’t red either, so I think it’s hardly noticeable .ᐟ

Because my double eyelids kept disappearing, my eyelid skin looked droopy and less of my irises showed, but now my eyes look completely defined. More than anything, it feels so amazing and nice that I still have double eyelids when I wake up in the morning and open my eyes ,, haha

I tried to write in detail, so it got long, but I hope my post helps even a little for those considering double-eyelid surgery ㅎ_ㅎ
