I’ve had consultations at about four places, but I still haven’t decided, so I want to get more recommendations, have more consultations, and then make my final decision. Please help meㅜㅜ
My current nose condition is a slight dorsal hump + low nasal bridge + wide nose. In this state, I had filler and Hiko nose thread procedures, so the filler has spread a bit and my nasal bridge is high now. I’m tired of getting filler and Hiko, and the shape changes every time, so I decided to get rhinoplasty.
After getting consultations, most places said they use donated costal cartilage a lot. I wanted to use my own septal cartilage, but after looking at the CT, they said it couldn’t be used. But there was also one place that said it could be used. That place didn’t do a CT scan though. I’m really desperate about where else I should go for a consultationㅜㅜ Also, I’m curious why everywhere gives a discount if you book on the same day, and gives less of a discount if you book later!! I know it’s their sales policy so there isn’t much to say, but the system felt strange. The price difference was almost 1 million won. Is it like that everywhere??
I’ll share reviews of the places where I had consultations! - ㅎㅌ: It was pretty standard, but I didn’t feel trust, kind of a factory-like, mass-produced feeling?? It was so-so, but not bad. I thought if I did it here, it would at least be decent, and they seemed like they would do well within a moderate line. - ㅌㅌㅇ: The doctor’s attitude wasn’t great, but the consultant was kind. I also had a functional nose consultation, and it was about 2.3 million won more expensive than ㅍㄹㅁㅇ. It felt too business-like, so I decided to skip this place!! It felt like the price was whatever they called out.
- ㅍㄹㅁㅇ: This place had the most people. There was a consultation fee, and the system was exactly the same as ㅌㅌㅇ. Are these two hospitals connected?? I was curious. What they said was all similar here too. Since the director is famous, the price was higher, and I felt I could trust that they would do a good job. But I heard there were suspicions about ghost surgery, so I’m a bit anxious too.
- ㅇㄱㅈㅅㅇ: I liked this place the most. But this was the only one that wasn’t a CT consultation. The director has such long experience that I trusted him completely haha I’m most curious about how this place is. I think they would do it naturally and well, but I’m not sure whether it would turn out pretty. Other places said they probably couldn’t use my septal cartilage, but this place said they would use it, so I liked that, but I’m worried they might not be able toㅜㅜ
Other than these places, I’d like somewhere that can improve my nose while being moderately glamorous. Something too glamorous and obvious like ㅇㅇ or ㅎㅇㅂ feels burdensome to me. But if it barely shows at all, that would feel like a waste.
